The service was very good. The employees are very cultured and very understanding. The hotel is very nice in a good location, 5 minutes from the promenade by the sea. The interior is made as historical, which makes you feel as if you are in the past. We were very surprised at how much choice of food there was for breakfast and dinner, which was very tasty. We would go to the same place again.

I loved absolutely everything. At first, I thought the carpeted floors in the rooms were a bit dated..but oh no, when one wakes up and walks from the bed to the balcony, the soft carpet under the feet just adds to the ambiance as one looks over at the waves over the water! Wow! The food was also immaculate at the restaurant. There's a tiny cliff beach right in front of the hotel but if you walk 5 minutes, a larger beach (but all rocks, so bring water shoes). Walk 10 or so minutes and you're in the cute town you probably drove through on your way to the hotel - we had award winning food by chance and enjoyed the general vibe over a beer on the water (So basically, location is amazing!) The hotel staff were very friendly and open to any request. We got last minute massages and it was phenomenal.

Beautifully situated right by the sea. Breathtaking views, the coastline dotted with rocks. Very friendly, courteous service makes you feel at ease and well-cared for. Breakfast was very good. The villa is very stylish, freshly renovated inside. Definitely a good recommendation, especially for people who appreciate quiet luxury.

Above all, the staff! Particularly-Paula, who not only made us feel completely at home and in her personal care, but helped us above and beyond her responsibility. From last minute dinner reservations to giving us historical and geographical context for Opatija and the region, not to mention days of work tying to locate our lost phone and shipping it to us. Her capability and energy cannot be matched. People make all the difference in hospitality, and Amadria Park Royal is a better place because of her work ethics and personality!

A beautiful villa, dating from the early 1900’s, tastefully converted to a hotel by its owner, Vjecko Martinko. A feeling of wellness is evident in the property, directly on the famous Lungo Mare, a short distance from the old village of Lovran. A lovely breakfast each morning on the terrace sets the pattern of the day. The staff were are very friendly and Vjecko himself was present each day. It is only a few metres to swim in the crystal clear water of the Kvarner gulf, which we did several times each day, even in the rain.
