What’s there not to like? This was the best stay we’ve ever had. We were pleasantly surprised by the place. The staff were incredibly kind and always willing to go the extra mile to help us. In simple terms, you’re paying Travelodge prices for a five-star experience. It’s a fantastic family-friendly place. We loved it so much! It's so close to the lakes, with food and restaurants nearby as well. We were a family of two adults and two kids, and this place had everything we needed. There were comfy beds—two doubles, one single, and one on the floor. The space was spacious and the bathroom was huge. It even had a decent lounge area with table and chairs in it, plus a fridge. The complimentary fruit was a nice touch. All I want to say is thank you for making this stay so nice and memorable. Oh, and I think it’s newly built—didn’t see any mold or dirt anywhere!

The location is honestly magical. Unlike most local guesthouses that face the main road, this one sits about 200 meters back, at the end of a side road, with a lively little river as its backdrop. The countryside vibe is absolutely priceless, we loved every minute of our breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water. Great breakfast variety, plus an omelette cooked to order by a lovely lady or the owner himself.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

The highlight of Plitvice is in the middle of the top.

The highlight of Plitvice is in the middle of the top. Many travelers only look around the lower part, but it can be said that they only appreciate about 35-40% of it, and go without seeing the other 60%. A medium sized waterfall, a pond and a pedestrian path leading to the pond are varied, beautiful and endearing.

Extreme little to do in the area beyond the lakes - you can walk it all in around 3 minutes, I wish I was exaggerating! Three shops (a cafe bar / two bakeries) and a restaurant and couple of supermarkets. People were friendly enough though.

Small city that does not have anything special to offer. It has a few restaurants that are nice and a store. But it is a nice quiet place from where you can go on fieldtrips - Plitvice Lakes one of the most famous ones.

You should stay here for at most one night.

You should stay here for at most one night. There isn't anything to do or to see here. Use it at as stop to get to the lakes which are worth every penny. There is bus shuttle service supposedly to get to the lakes, but renting a car and reserving a parkingspot at the lakes is probably your best bet. The people here are very kind, they'll help you if you need something. We planned this part of the trip badly, and only because of the help of strangers a possible disaster was mitigated. The people here made everything 10 times better, from police, to servers, to the owners of the establishments, to the regular people just walking around. They are very kind. I had a great time here.

Great place to take 2D rest on our trip to Makarska.

Great place to take 2D rest on our trip to Makarska. We spent one day at Plitvicka jezera to see where famous movie with Pierre Brice aka Vinetou was made. It is wirth of you time and money. Book the tickets online at least 24 hour in advance so as you can save your time. Choose route “C”- boat and train is already included in the price. The best choice is to start at “Ulaz1”. We spent there more than 8 hours! and we really enjoyed every second there!

The family is incredibly friendly. We were welcomed with some Raki, which was the best Raki I ever had. They even left a nice dry sausage for us in the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious. The garden and surroundings are beautiful. Walking distance from the center of Korenica where you can find some restaurants. When we got home from a nice day at plitvice, which is very close, we were welcomed with pancakes. The hospitality was just baffling.

Perfect hostel to discover Plitvice and the Croatian mountains! The kitchen was equipped well enough so 2 people can cook at the same time, and the rooms were spacious enough! I thought the showers were very clean, which I really appreciated. It is a very familiar and a hostel that strives to have everyone feeling like they belong to a small community, thanks to the many activities offered for people staying there and willing to find pals for their next hike!

We are amazed with stay in this beautiful place! Located in wonderful area, in Croatian mountain, close to Plitvice Lakes. This is a perfect place for resting. We regret that we stay here only for one night and we arrived so late. House is very comfy, cozy, with a fireplace, comfortable bed i very clean bathroom. The owners turned out very helpful and hospitable. My dream is stay in this place for longer time.

Lovely countryside vibes with mountain views and field in front of the hotel with cows grazing on it. The room itself was spacious, had a balcony. The bathroom was spacious. The dining area was in a separate house which had the view of the mountains. The restaurant served exceptional food made with good quality ingredients.
