We loved the vibe. The DJ playing great tunes all arvo. The food. The comfy bed. The room. The balcony. The breakfast. It was all great. The place is in Stari Grad which is 22km from Hvar Old Town. If you like being closer to the Old Town, little Streets restaurants and bars, this IS NOT the place for you. But if you like the idea of a stunning pool, loads of lounges, bar by the pool, a beach, and transport options arranged by the hotel, on-site restaurant with lots of options, then you will enjoy it here.

The owners are excellent host not just for the house bur also to the island. They are honest hard working people who love the island and what they do. I referred to them for all information I needed and their answer was always so right. Our stay would not have been the same without Apartment Suljic and Azra and her dear husband. The house is clean and spacious, it gives you confort and privacy. It is located in the Old Town near all the beautiful beaches but also not far fron Hvar Town. You can have a full experience of Hvar at Apartment Suljic at a reasonable price.

Not for everyone. Don't go there if you like noise, night clubs, loud music and so, If you look for calm and silent place - it might be your golden target. We love that place - both from the sea side (as skipper) and land (as tourists). We will be there back again if only we can.

First trip to Croatia, and glad we chose Hvar Island. Stayed walking distance outside Stari Grad, picked location as quieter than Hvar town. In hind sight would stay first few days in Stari Grad and finish stay in Hvar town to be closer to port. Both Stari Grad and Hvar town have beautiful architecture and well worth a trip in the shoulder months

Looking nice, but strange that after 23h everything is sleepy....restaurants and caffes are closed after 23h, and shop is working till midnight. No fun at all in the evening, but nice beaches and pine trees around. Restaurants in general are disappointment, overprized, with low quality of food.

A wonderfully walkable and friendly place, with a rich history and vibrant atmosphere. At any given time there are small vessels moored from around the world, alongside the picturesque wharf lined with outdoor cafes and gelatories. Wandering through the historic centre at blue hour is a memory we will never forget.

Good location as a base.

Good location as a base. All the great beaches are closer to Stari grad. City of Hvar is definitely the nicest but cities like Jelsa, Vrboska and ofc Stari grad are having their own charm. Speaking of restaurants in Stari hrad, I would recommend Barba Luka. One of the greatest fish meals I had so far...and staff is excellent. Prices are higher but restaurant is also on higher level than others.

It's quiet but still full of action.

It's quiet but still full of action. A lot of restaurants with different dishes and different kind of music. Some even with live musicians. There is a great plaza in the city covered with micro-blazes that shoot tiny drops of water producing refreshing fog. Kids loved it. Big sidewalk along the sea allows for great night walks. The city beach is fairly nice, clean water and normally crowded. Great vacation for family with kids. Perhaps not so good for partygoers.

The property is stunning, it’s so relaxing and we had the most comfortable bedroom. The rooms are a little small but we knew this when booking. Added bonus of a balcony for fresh air. The highlight is the breakfast which is the most extensive buffet I’ve ever experienced featuring oyster, bubbles, pastries, fresh carved meats and so on. Onsite tour booking facilities, €25 a day credit per person to use on food and drink. Shuttle bus to hvar town, taxi boat pick up to Stari Grad Ferry. 11/10

Extremely calm location, you really need a car as it's a bit away from Stari Grad and it's hilly (and hot!). A really relaxing way to see Hvar Island - Stari Grad is a nice town and you can easily get to some nice out of the way beaches. The house is really well equipped - you have everything you need and you can have lovely meals in the garden by the pool which is small but most welcome (and you can sit and watch the swifts dive-bombing the pool)!

A beautiful guest house in a lovely town. It had the feel and smell of a spa (plus treatments if you wanted, for a fee). A lovely little courtyard to sit in too. Stari Grad itself, is a very pretty little town and less touristy than Hvar town, quieter and more laid back. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely spot, well maintained. Hosts were extremely helpful. They picked us up at the ferry and also drove us to Hvar Town. House was really pleasant for our group. We loved sitting in the beautifull garden, the bbq, pool and jacuzzi. And it is an easy walk to Stari Grad.
