This is an extrordinary well-equipped guesthouse on three floors with extremely nice owners! The house is situated in a narrow street from which it is only a short walk down to a picturesque beach. The beds are very comfortable and the whole house holds a lot of storage space for all your stuff. Besides, the interior design is absolutely smart and awfully pretty! Stara Baska apartments is great place to stay, especially off season its very calm. We spent here Easter holidays and host Damir was great, always ready to help and to provide advice. We loved big terrace with sea view and also apartment is furnished in comfortable way. Stara Baska is also top place for you, if you love hiking and geocaching.

Accommodation was great.

Accommodation was great. Access to the beach easy for people who don't mind walking down path to the sea. It's not recommended, in my opinion for people with a walking Issues as the path to the sea is very steep and walking up and down might be challenging. Sea is crystal clear, beaches are small and look very private. Have a water shoes as a walk over different sizes pebbles is difficult and not pleasant if you didn't have that experience.

It is a super small town which is great if you are looking...

It is a super small town which is great if you are looking for a chill vacation. Be aware of the hills if you are bringing people who have difficulties moving around. The hill from the beach to the accommodation is short but pretty steep. It is a good starting point for hikes. It would have been extra nice if Stara Baska had a bakery......

Stara Baska is at the end of a narrow street, which most Tourists don’t go to. This means you have a chance to visit your own piece of paradise there with all the things you need (like a nice quiet beach and a couple of restaurants). Before you follow the road, don’t forget to stock up on food in Krk, there’s a small market which has fresh veggies and fruit, but only limited options in case you like to make your own dinner.

The place was just like on the photos: nice, spacious and tidy. The view was amazing, the terrace is facing west, so you can see the sunset from the bed as well. Parking was allways available, the beach is a 3 minutes walk. The ride to the place is a bit adventurous, but still gives one of the best scenery on the island. There is a small grocery store nearby as well. One of the best Croatian experience for sure! I would go back to this hotel any time!

Beautiful, calm and quiet location of Stara Baska for people, who want to a stay away from overcrowded places. Original, 2-floor holiday house with all necessary facilities, including washing machine. Close to the beach, ~10 minutes walk from marina and restaurants. Private parking spot few min walk from the house, (which is in walking zone). Very nice and helpful hosts Damir and Ivana 😄. Definitely for people with a car, definitely worth of chosing!

Breakfast was nice and the staff kind, but Stara Baška in general is a bit out of the way (not the fault of this accomodation tho), the beach is small (although ok otherwise), and the roads narrow, you can't even take a walk and are always in danger driving.

Stara Baska is amazing place. We liked the lot of hidden shores and the Zala beach. The location of the house was great with nice view to the sea. We spent only 3 days what was too short to see all.
