Great hotel, great service. The spa is amazing, they allow to use it after checking out. Copious breakfast buffet. Location is perfect, right next to the old ruins of Salona and bus stop to get to Split in front.

We were lucky to stay at the hotel when there were just a few other guests, so we got to enjoy the VIP feeling. ;) The staff were brilliant! They all were friendly and helpful so I am giving 10 points just because of the experience with the personnel. Instead of complaining afterwards, I recommend asking for things you are missing during your stay. They are giving their best to accommodate you! The place maybe requires a bit of refurbishing, but I love the late 90ies feeling of luxury. We enjoyed the spa quite a lot (jacuzzi, sauna and heated pool). The girls working there were more than wonderful (looking lovely and being super-kind). Both pools outside were perfect! Our room was facing the recreational pool and a small park, but in the distance, we were able to see the ancient fortress of Klis which was a cinematic experience. I believe rooms facing this side are the best. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the best thing about that was the pianist, I believe his name was Vlado. What a wonderful gentleman and a true maestro! The bar on our second evening was quite a nice place to relax, great menu of cocktails and drinks. Extremely friendly and professional waiter Brane and his wife (who also works at the bar) made us feel so relaxed! We were treated with drinks and ice cream on the house which was quite a nice touch. I recommend checking out the nearby tavern called River, excellent seafood, grilled meat and salads. If you stay in Solin, do not allow yourself to miss the archaeological site of Salona! This was the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and it was an impressive city for its era. It'll give you that time travel experience! One more important detail about the hotel, it's pet friendly which was amazing! Our kitten enjoyed the room and the balcony. The room was properly cleaned even though I asked them not to use the vacuum so that the small one doesn't get scared. They did a great job!

If you are lucky enough and this accommodation is available for your dates, book it immediately! Apartment is fully furnished and equipped to the smallest details. The host will take care of you from the first second you make a reservation! Ivana called immediately after we booked her place, said we can arrive any time suitable for us (although it was late and we wanted to have dinner in the restaurant), she recommended immediately where to dine and how to find her easily. Free parking in front of the house. Will definitely return to this accommodation. Best host and best price in Split!

Solin is quite and ideal for the more mature visitors to the Split area. Solin also has a good selection of Bars & Restaurant's and is better value and quality than I found in the centre of Split. It is easy to get in and out of Split using the local buses (Journey time 30 minutes) . Ideal location

Magnificent place, with a huge archaeologic site often regarded as Croatian Pompeii. Definitely a place to visit, located very close to Diocletian's palace (Split), and Klis fortress, as well as lot more attractions to visit and enjoy....

Solin is beautiful and I look forward to returning. I will recommend Solin to family and friends, especially the Hotel President Solin. Magnificent strolling parks, energetic nightlife, vibrant, lively, family-friendly, pet-friendly, precious flora & fawna and breathtaking church with singing, art and spiritual energy.

Tea was terrible for a 5 star, we had to go out as I...

Tea was terrible for a 5 star, we had to go out as I couldn’t eat it. We had no towels in our room, glasses or a plug for out bath so within ten minutes we had to ask for all These things which you don’t expect to have to do. I also think for a 5 star you would get an iron and tea making facilities, the room just felt cold no little bits to make it feel welcome. The drive to the beach was over 15 mins which we did every day so ended up costing us more in the end. The pools where nice and the breakfast was good but that’s all I can say was good. We noticed a lot of kids and thought there’s nothing for them, no play area, no pool table nothing. This hotel could be so much better if a little thought and love went in to it. Old town is amazing loved it there, beaches are great we loved plaza Znjan beach the most, we eat at the monkey bar and beds where very cheap for the day.

I have stayed at the Salona Palace before so I knew what to expect, and once again it was excellent! The location is wonderful - a little oasis of calm to relax, and also close to Split should you want to explore. The pool area is wonderful, a great way to spend a day or two chilling out. The staff are so friendly as well, we had a wonderful time :-)

Great and nice apartment, cozy and modern with everything you need. Great host always available and supportive. Very good location, peaceful and close to split and supermarkets as well. A really good selection if you stay at Split.
