Uvala Slana is a more "wild", Poli Mora is much more equipped, beautiful beach. The town center is cute and cozy, full of restaurants. Though travelling there in the second half of September the sea was acceptably warm, there were still many tourists.

The towns of Selce and Crikvenica are very beautiful.

The towns of Selce and Crikvenica are very beautiful. There are many bars and restaurants. Even though we arrived near the end of the season, the town was still quite lively. The restaurants are very good. Almost all of them are pet friendly at least those that have terraces. We ate exclusively in restaurants and were always satisfied everywhere. We lived on grilled calamari, ćevapčići, pljeskavica, and meat burek throughout the whole vacation. Selce is a smaller town where everything is basically located on the promenade by the beach. There is not much in the other streets except for a few shops (but the promenade is loooong :D). Selce has an ice cream shop that won 1st place in the world, and I must say the ice cream is really excellent and they serve large portions (but that's common all over Croatia). For anyone who hasn't been to Selce or Crikvenica yet, I definitely recommend it.

Selce is a small town.

Selce is a small town. Perfect if you enjoy a calmer vibe, like sitting in a café until midnight. If you prefer more buzz, Crikvenica is just a 30-minute seaside walk away, with lively nightlife all the time.

Selce is a beautiful, picturesque little town that offers everything you need for a perfect family vacation. There are comfortable beaches, excellent food, great ice cream, and a pleasant evening atmosphere. For those looking for a more vibrant or lively nightlife, the nearby town of Crikvenica is just a longer walk or short drive away. Another great advantage of Selce is its location — it’s close to other interesting destinations, such as the town of Krk on the island of Krk. You can also take boat trips directly from Selce, which is a great option for families with children. A unique benefit of Selce is that it’s naturally sheltered by the island of Krk from the open sea, which means there are no large waves — making the swimming experience safer and more enjoyable, especially for kids.

A charming little town.

A charming little town. Its center is located on the coast, with supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, and cafés nearby. There are various types of beaches (concrete, rocky, small pebbles) along the promenade. The upper streets are easily accessible by car, and there are many one-way streets near the sea. It is difficult to find free parking spaces.

A really nice place.

A really nice place. Once a fishers' village, most probably, still has its traditional old-town structure, but attractively built out to receive guests. Good restaurants, coffee houses, nice seaside walking alley, good-looking residential buildings and mediterranean gardens. With some small-distance excursions to Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski and Senj, it is well worth a week of stay even for those who do not want to spend all their time on the beach. (Do not go to Rijeka, absolutely no free parking facilities there!)

It’s modern newly built hotel, first row to see. From outside it’s modern hotel, but interior is totally kitschy 🤣 Do good thing is very polite and helpful staff, amazing view, beach in front of hotel and reserved parking. Breakfast, nice swimming pool and gym are also great.

Apartmant was nice, everything you need, had parking which is important in Selce due to lack of parking area in Selce. The landlord Vlatka was nice, warm welcome with coffee. To sum up our few days in the apartment was cozy and relaxing.

So much amazing food. Especially for dinner. 3 pools. For small kids is awsome. Very close to the town Selce. You can go without car. Parking place in hotel you must pay per day but I didnt mind because full value for money is great.
