Absolutely lovely hotel. First of all, hotel staff is completely lovely, to the maximum standards, completely non intrusive to you but extremely helpful. Rooms are nice size and pool and the bar are lovely. Sea is 22 steps away. Strong recommendation

We had a marvelous stay. Spacious triple room with terrace is equipped with sunbeds, umbrella, table and chairs, separate stairs allow going from your riom directly to the beach. Very friendly staff, great breakfast with fantastic view at Adriatic sea. We had dinner several times at hotel restaurant (opens at 4 p.m.). Main dishes as well as deserts were delicious, much better than at restaurants alongside the beach+ better prices. Top service. On the day of departure we were allowed to check out 1.5 hours later with absolutely no additional surcharge which was very helpful! Quite and not crowded, clean, 'feel-very-welcome' vibe - we want to thank hotel owners and employees once again: please keep this great service and atmosphere . Please know that all your efforts are very much appreciated! We will definitely come back

Room and balcony 10 metres away from the waterfront, sleep with the sound of lapping waves. Amazing views from the balcony, including views over Split. Staff made us feel at home. Pool and water access. Sea was a bit cold (19C, in May) but quite swimmable. Easy, cheap 30 minute bus ride to central Split. Really nice dinner options (menu a bit limited, but good basic food).

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants...

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants on the beach walk. You really need a hire car if you want to more than stay on the beach all day every day. We visited KIRKA National Park, Skradin, Trogir, Zadar and Split itself all of which I would definitely recommend visiting we did all this in a week and it just about right.

We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. Recommend Konoba Carevi Dvori in Old Podstrana, you'll need a car or taxi to the top of the hill, pre-bookings only. Lovely atmosphere and setting.

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.

Podstrana is probably over crowded in high summer, but it was pretty empty in May when people prefer to stay in Split. We found it a perfect balance - 30 minutes to Dioclesian's Palace by bus, with a return costing €2.50 (with the Promet Split App), yet with properties right by the beach. The place is quiet in May (and I assume totally closed in winter), which is good, but for example we had trouble finding anything to eat on Sunday afternoon, with shops closed. People are really friendly and it seems the whole of Dalamatia is relatively safe.

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8)...

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8) runs through Podstrana so it can be quite busy at times. However there are some really nice places to eat such as Hotel Eden and restaurant Arkada, both of which are mid-price range (but expensive if you have wine), but worth a visit at least once. Less expensive local eateries are about, but we were only there for 3 nights and made the most of it. There are several supermarkets along the main road for groceries etc. Most of the "beach" area appears to be pebbly/rocky, although we did not explore very far from our hotel. There is a main bus route through Podstrana which links it with Split centre. Due to personal circumstances we did not venture very far so are unable to rate other possible attractions in the town.

Najbolji objekat sa najboljim uslovima.Sve cisto,lijepo i mirise.Apartman na samoj plaži,sve novo u apartmanu. Plaza cista i uredna U sklopu cijene imate bukvalno sve,samo ponesite licne stvari. Domacini su vise nego ljubazni i vode racuna da gostu nista ne nedostaje. Hrana ukusna i veoma dobar i velik izbor. Rado cu se opet vratiti u ovaj objekat koji zaslužuje najvisu ocjenu . Sve preporuke 👌

The hotel has a fantastic location, right by the sea. It was beautiful to have breakfast with such an incredible view. A big plus are the free sunbeds that are provided by the hotel. The food was super delicious as well. The family owning the hotel is extremely kind and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the very beginning. You don't need a car because you can either take an Uber/Taxi or the bus to visit Split.

Everything was perfect! Room was fresh and modern. Receptionist is a credit to this hotel so friendly and welcoming and very accommodating with luggage and checking in! Restaurant downstairs was convenient and again friendly staff. Location easily accessible to split town by bus and good shops nearby right on beach!! Can’t go wrong and will definitely be looking to book this hotel again on return to Croatia

We stayed here with a one-year-old who needed some space. We had a bedroom and a separate living room with a kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with everything: a microwave, a large fridge with a freezer, and an oven. Every detail of the kitchen and the house was perfectly clean. The bed was comfortable and the TV had Netflix. If we are ever in Split again, we will definitely book this hotel again.

The location was excellent, situated right on a gorgeous beach with a plethora of restaurants all within walking distance. The staff and locals are very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff went above and beyond to provide a clean and comfortable accommodation and i would recommend this hotel to anybody exploring Croatia.
