This newly opened hotel in Podstrana was simply fantastic. The complete Aria hotel team was very friendly and service minded and they always walked the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be, and it was. Hotel is completely new and just at the right size so that You always feel welcomed and appreciated. Rooms and facilities is in top quality with daily cleaning that was very good. The location on the beach is amazing, you could not wish for more. We stayed in a seaside view room on the 3rd floor and the room with it's breathtaking view from the balcony far exceeded our expectations. Hotel beach with complementary sun-beds and umbrellas as well as Restaurant Jure was also amazingly good. We can highly recommend this place, You will not be disappointed. We are confident that this hotel with the dedicated and amazing team running it will be a success. We already look forward to our next visit.

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants...

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants on the beach walk. You really need a hire car if you want to more than stay on the beach all day every day. We visited KIRKA National Park, Skradin, Trogir, Zadar and Split itself all of which I would definitely recommend visiting we did all this in a week and it just about right.

We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. Recommend Konoba Carevi Dvori in Old Podstrana, you'll need a car or taxi to the top of the hill, pre-bookings only. Lovely atmosphere and setting.

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then...

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.

Podstrana is probably over crowded in high summer, but it was pretty empty in May when people prefer to stay in Split. We found it a perfect balance - 30 minutes to Dioclesian's Palace by bus, with a return costing €2.50 (with the Promet Split App), yet with properties right by the beach. The place is quiet in May (and I assume totally closed in winter), which is good, but for example we had trouble finding anything to eat on Sunday afternoon, with shops closed. People are really friendly and it seems the whole of Dalamatia is relatively safe.

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8)...

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8) runs through Podstrana so it can be quite busy at times. However there are some really nice places to eat such as Hotel Eden and restaurant Arkada, both of which are mid-price range (but expensive if you have wine), but worth a visit at least once. Less expensive local eateries are about, but we were only there for 3 nights and made the most of it. There are several supermarkets along the main road for groceries etc. Most of the "beach" area appears to be pebbly/rocky, although we did not explore very far from our hotel. There is a main bus route through Podstrana which links it with Split centre. Due to personal circumstances we did not venture very far so are unable to rate other possible attractions in the town.

Najbolji objekat sa najboljim uslovima.Sve cisto,lijepo i mirise.Apartman na samoj plaži,sve novo u apartmanu. Plaza cista i uredna U sklopu cijene imate bukvalno sve,samo ponesite licne stvari. Domacini su vise nego ljubazni i vode racuna da gostu nista ne nedostaje. Hrana ukusna i veoma dobar i velik izbor. Rado cu se opet vratiti u ovaj objekat koji zaslužuje najvisu ocjenu . Sve preporuke 👌

The room is good, in an old building or at least with that old hotel vibe, but good room nevertheless. The balcony overlooked the sea which was great, with a place to dry off your things, the access to the sea was a little tough but ok. The rooms are above a restaurant, which is actually good. I chose the place as an alternative to visit Split and I’m not sorry. the bathroom was a little small but ok. For me the best part was the bed, it was great!! so far the best bed I found in Croatia! 10/10!!

Nice location out of split. The area outside hotel on “beach” is pebbles and cement. Pretty sunsets and comfortable beds. The aircon great. WiFi good too. Free sunloungers out front (you do have to pay for umbrellas though… weird) Restaurant set up in evening is lovely. Overlooking sea and sunsets. Close to water sports for kids. 5 min walk to supermarket and bakery

We enjoyed our trip, breakfast everyday was fresh and delicious with great service and always friendly, the hotel was comfortable and clean and had a good location near the beach and bus stops easily to go to Split. Thank you very much 😊
