We stayed in three spacious ground floor rooms, all next to each other, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. The breakfast area was on the same level, which was very convenient. The staff, especially the receptionist and the breakfast team, were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and varied – we particularly enjoyed the cottage cheese and apple strudels. Everything was great, and we would be happy to return in the future.

A modern and cosy apartment in the center of Otocac with a very friendly and helpful owner ideal for a longer family stay or a sleepover. Josip helped us with everything he could and recommended a great place to eat by the Gacka river (Bistro Ribic). communication with him was spotless. The apartment is located on raised ground floor in a quiet cul-de-sac close to pastry shops and cafes. All amenities provided incl. shampoo, teas/ coffees, instant kids drinks and even a couple of cold bears in the fridge! Dedicated parking in front of the building. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed in Croatia for one night only as on the way to Medjugorie. It was great chosen stay. The house is in small village with beautiful view. The house was very clean with all facilities even extra. I loved every little details like herbs or olive oil 😊 and I would recommend to anyone who likes piece and quite far from busy towns. The owner responded to any enquiry straight away. I would give 5 🌟

We were greeted with coffee and cake and a very friendly smile. You couldn't hope for nicer hosts. The check-in was easy and fast, and the parking was just outside. The apartment was gorgeous and sparkly clean. It was even better than the photos. The kitchen was well appointed, and the shower was exceptional. The bed was great too, and we had a great night's sleep. It was in a great location for us, halfway between Izola and Split. We would stay again for sure, and wish we had stayed longer!

Everything was good. Staff, apartment, place for parking. Also there was goods for eating, tea, coffee and sugar. Terrace for rest. All was clean. Staff was very friendly. The price for staying there is very cheap. We wanted to stay there on the way back, but it’s was sold out. To staying here was a big pleasure. We will recommend this place for staying to our friends.

If you are looking for beautiful valley scenery and as a base for Plitvice and Velebit then it is ideal. The area is good value for money and Otocac itself has a good choice of grocery stores, bars and bakeries. The restaurant choice is a bit limited, with most places doing a very similar menu, so for longer stays this could be an issue.

Otočac is a beautiful small town in the valley of the Gacka river that offers excellent opportunities for a good vacation. The beautiful scenery of the river Gacka, its springs, the possibility of walking and jogging in nature or hiking in the nearby National Park North Velebit, are good reasons to come to this beautiful town in Lika. And if you find yourself in Otočac, be sure to stop by the pizzeria Ruspante in Sinac, in the immediate vicinity of the picturesque Majerovo Vrel. There you will try one of the best pizzas in Croatia.

The beautiful Gacka River flows through the area, and there are excellent shopping opportunities. Several worthwhile destinations are nearby. Unfortunately, the area still bears the marks of a war zone. Houses are damaged by bullet holes, and there are ruins, but the landscape is stunning!

A real surprise!

A real surprise! A very nice town, just the right size for a person. All the essential amenities are within easy reach. Good supplies (shops), catering options (the restaurant at the Hotel Zvonimir - a pleasant discovery) and there are also various activities on offer, on the Gacka River or in the surrounding area. A canoe ride on the river, a visit to Majerovo Vril and the bear sanctuary in Kuterevo are recommended.

Perfect location for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park...

Perfect location for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, about a half-hour drive away. Prices are cheaper than in the park. The town has a bit of everything. Thanks to the manager of the nearby airfield who made everything easy for us.

We were very satisfied. The owners were very kind and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable with modern equipment. The pool was perfect — large and at an ideal temperature. I can recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy the peaceful countryside. It is quiet and calm. The surroundings are picturesque, with green meadows, mountains, and the Gacka River. The town of Otočac is just 10 minutes away, where you can shop and find restaurants. We and our dog also enjoyed the entire stay.

We were searching for 2 days in relax during a journey across Croatia, and we found the best apartment: it is big, quiet, cute, in the countryside and near mountains, 15 minutes from Otocac. Alex is so kind (she also gave us informations about surroundings, place to visit and restaurants), the house is very confortable, totally equipped, clean. We would have liked to stay more and more!

A nice place on the road from Poland to Adriatic sea. It's clean, spacious with the welcoming owner. You can relax in quiet without spending much. They have a little playground for families with kids. A lot of atractions near for people WHO would like to stay longer such as National Parks and river.
