I had an extremely enjoyable stay at this hotel with my dog (pet friendly for an extra small modest fee). Dejan, operating the front office and reception, was extremely friendly and very helpful and informative... welcoming both myself and my dog with genuine sincerity. (He also can speak English.) Although my hotel room was basic (modestly furnished) and a little small, it was very functional, clean, and comfortable (well suited for one or two nights). The double bed wasn't too hard or too soft and allowed for a decent night's sleep. Apart from a private bathroom, the room had a small private balcony, with a basic table & chairs set. The only small negative aspect about the room was the tiny shower cubicle....but it was sufficient to shower in (good supply of hot water and complimentary bath gel). The property has a decent sized carpark (€3 per vehicle per day) and a large, clean pool. The place also boasts a large restaurant that offers great buffet dinners (beer, wine & soft drinks included) and an inclusive buffet breakfast with the room. When I checked in, Dejan told me if I precooked the dinner upon arrival it's a mere €3 extra per buffet per night (fantastic value...and the buffet selections are vast, varied and very delicious = SENSATIONAL!!). The hotel also offers a large bar and a small games room suitable for children (free pool table and coin-operated games machines). Located very close to the sea (which is clean and suitable for swimming) there are also other activities and equipment available; mini-golf, children's playground, bike hire shop, small market and a few bars/restaurants for examples. The only small downside to their location is the distance to the nearest town....but it can be easily reached by bike or car. All the staff are very friendly, which allows for a wonderful stay....I'm just disappointed that I could only stay one night.

Friendly welcome, really.helpful staff, great location. Lovely breakfast and effective air conditioning. Perfect base for exploring Novigrad. I'm sure that on Booking.com it said that it was only possible to check in up to a certain time. That might be true "off season" but in mid-June it was no problem that we arrived after 20:00.

The best thing about this accommodation is the host Tatjana. She went out of her way to ensure we were checked in and had everything we needed, despite problems with our flights, meaning we did not get there until 1.00am. She was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The situation on the fringe of Novigrad suited us perfectly. We also enjoyed the use of the pool area which was not too busy.

Beautiful old Town. Everything is in walking distance. Excellent seafood restaurants. Reasonable prices. Lovely marina and beaches with pine trees for shade. Friendly people always looking to accommodate you. Would recommend visiting. Couple of historic towns half of hour drive from Novigrad.

A beautiful, climatic seaside village. In the summer season, it is bustling with life until late at night. Lots of local restaurants and price selection, nice marina, shops available. Nice kept sights.

My first time in Croatia. Novigrad was really nice.

My first time in Croatia. Novigrad was really nice. Probably not for people who light late nights in pubs and clubs. Very family oriented. The entire small town and leisure areas are beautifully laid out. A definite must for people and families who like to be near the sea. A huge change for large city people. Very dog friendly. In Ireland ( I’m from Cork city ) dogs seem to be an inconvenience. I would have loved to have brought my dog but not practical for me as I had to get two flights from Cork to get here. Restaurants all very good quality. Prices of drinks and food good ! Will be back next year.

Very nice small town, with many restaurants and other places to eat. The beach is suitable for children, possibility to rent a paddleboard, boat, or sports equipment. Plenty of areas in the shadow. We made a trip to Pula from there (1-hour drive) and also a boat trip to see the dolphins.

It was our first time in the Blu Mare. From the photos on the site we already expected nice view and cozy hotel, but the entire experience actually exceeded our expectations. Started by transport from the parking place by golf cart and continued with most gracious hosts on entry, which also welcomed our dog with a smile. Furthermore - truly welcoming and talkative bartender along with entire staff. Room was spacious and smelled as fresh woodwork. Sea view directly from bed was just awesome.
