Everything was wonderful. The hotel is modern, extremely clean and well presented. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, especially the sunsets. All the staff were so friendly and helpful Damien, the manager, was a true gem, and the lady owner, whose name l didn't catch, was absolutely gorgeous. Our bed was very comfortable, and the extra pillows that we were given helped us sleep very well as we both had chest infections. The breakfasts were extremely good, with a great variety for all tastes. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Island of Pag was incredibly beautiful in its ruggedness and desolate landscape STUNNING!!

Novalja is amazing.

Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with...

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.

I went off season, but there were still some good bars and restaurants open. Nice beach in Gajca nearby, and a cool hiking area called "Life on Mars" jsut a 20 min drive away. Dont miss the Boskinac winery.

Biggest attractions in Novalja are the Adriatic sea and Zrce...

Biggest attractions in Novalja are the Adriatic sea and Zrce beach. The city should invest more into pavements for pedestrians, right now, pedestrians share the same roads as cars. For eating, I recommend LaBabulj pizza at the beach{promenade - they have very good pizzas.

Novalja is perfect for young peole (or those who like party, cocktails and fun :-) ) Is very good place for making party, nice sun bathing , swimming and also water sport like Jet Sky , Banana boat etc.. is available. Very good is the very close distance to Zrce-Beach in case of festivals. Thanks a lot to Novalja - Croatia. I love this country.

You have to search for a bit to find a "fine-dining"...

You have to search for a bit to find a "fine-dining" restaurant, most of the food available are snackbars or other microwaved diners. Novalja is really close to Zrce-beach. This is a very cool clubbing area, make sure to bring some cash and be sure to go here at least once, it is amazing. We went a a party-boat from "Festini", this was a lot of fun and I do recommended others to also go on one of these party-boats. The beaches in Novalja are a lot of painful stones, I highly recommend "Babe Beach", a 30min walk(/5min drive), since the center of babe beach isn't stones but just sand. A lot better then the Novalja beach which is only stones. I don't recommend driving around in Novalja for fun, the streets are small with a lot of pedestrians on the street. Taxi's are really cheap when u use an app like Uber or Bolt.

The room is quite small but comfortable and very clean. Highly recommended if you are going mainly to festivals at Zrce Beach, after each party we could have a good rest, there is air conditioning and window blinds so we could sleep comfortably during the day. The room is very close to the beach and to the center, but it is also located in a quiet place. The beds were also very comfy. It takes about 25 minutes to reach Zrce Beach on foot.

Cute small studio apartment with little terrace (shadow in the morning and evening), great location, 10min to the beach and to a nice restaurant with delicious food (Palma restaurant). 25 min walk to zrce beach. Owners are very welcoming. Would definitely recommend to stay in this property.
