The hosts were incredibly welcoming. We stayed in a cozy 17 m² apartment that was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a big bed, a small kitchen for cooking, nice small bathroom and a lovely balcony. The Wi-Fi issue was promptly resolved and worked well afterward. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from both the beach and the town center. Highly recommended!

The one next to it is difficult for beginners to swim in, but 1 km to the right of the accommodation - beautiful, comfortable. The location of the apartment is near the village of Karlobag. There is also a beautiful beach in Karlobag. The apartment is beautiful, clean, tasteful, small. There is a terrace with a view of the mountains and the sea. Those who want to enjoy the silence and the mountains of Croatia can definitely go. Responsive, kind, but unobtrusive hosts. Overall, we really liked it.

Amazing and complete house in a perfect location. 2 of the 3 big bedrooms have a big balcony with a very nice seaview. Everything you might need is there. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk into the village and to the beaches. The place was spotless and there's even a nice garden to lounge in. The owners, Milan and Sandra are very welcoming. Shout out to their son Ivan, for showing me the way to the apartment, getting me a welcome drink and being an all around perfect host. Hvala!

Karlobag is a very nice small town by the sea.

Karlobag is a very nice small town by the sea. The road is marvelous, and the town is very authentic and pleasant. Unfortunately, it is largely infested by motorcyclists who invade the entire coast in great numbers, jam and noise-pollute the downtown same as create a lot of noise all around, making it quite difficult to enjoy the town and have a peaceful and quiet vacation. No, it's not a problem of Karlobag only, neither this comment is about "evil bikers". Having been a biker myself many years ago, I just want to warn those who expect to have some quiet time by the sea. This is NOT the place where you would be able to realize that need. And for God's sake, people! Stop polluting this fragile world - either with trash or with terrible noise. Stop revving your bikes, respect other people. Drive cars or bicycles instead - they are much less noisy.

Our stay wasn't in Karlobag proper, rather about 30 minutes south of the actual city. The village/city of Karlobag was nice. There are a few basic restaurants, a wharf, dock swimming area. Very small. Worth a visit for meal or an ice cream. Seems like an old Mideval village that turned into a fishing village that is now a bit more of a tourist stop or a place to live for locals involved in the tourist trade along the coast.

Karlobag is small village which are not too much turistic...

Karlobag is small village which are not too much turistic exposed, we visited 2 restaurantes - OK Karlobag and Konoba Ribar - both were quite good - OK Karlobag a little bit better - portiones of meal are there really big. Near the village are mountains Velebit with some national parks and in cca 50 km distance is natinal park Paklenica. Laying on the beach is pleasant but I recomand to find 1 or 2 days and visit at least one of them. The views on the nature and sea are stunnning.

Karlobag is a great place to base yourself for a few days.

Karlobag is a great place to base yourself for a few days. You have access to ferry ports taking you to Pag and Rab which are both beautiful islands. You can also take the road inland to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park which is incredible. I would recommend getting there early as it gets busy quickly.

Only for those, who are looking for a quiet place.

Only for those, who are looking for a quiet place. No crowd but also no shops, restaurants etc. within the village. Nevertheless, not far with car in the other villages. Sunset can be seen. The sea is nice but the panorama is not the infinite, but an island with naked sand & rocks.

There were not a lot of tourist, enough space on the beach for everyone. It is small town and you could walk everywhere, you do not need to use the car. Quite place,which has also few restaurants, shop.

Calm place side of turistic expanded places, swiming pool was perfect especially for our children. Near are mounatains Velebit with some national parks and in 50 km distance national park Paklenica - it is really beautifull place and I recomend to find one day and visit at least one of them. The view on the sea is realy astonished. Also beach in short walking distance was nice and there were less people than we supposed. Kindly host.

The main plus of the apartment is a private beach 2 minutes away. The beach with view of Pag island. Large terrace, parking in the yard. The owners are friendly and helpful (Croatian and German speakers).
