The quietness, the big space and the cleanliness of the accommodation, a supermarket nearby, Entrance 2 of the lake within walking distance (Entrance 1 is where most of the coaches come in), and the hospitality of the host …make this accommodation an excellent place to stay for family. We extended our one night booking to two nights after checking in, and thoroughly enjoyed our early morning walk around the Lake avoided the time and routes when the tourists swarmed in. huge TV with netflix and Disney :)

Only great things- just a breath-taking Plitvice Lakes National Park! That was the focus of our trip. There were many nearby areas of beauty and fun things to do that we missed. You need a few days in this area of Croatia!

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and...

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.

The only negative was the Property description, indicating...

The only negative was the Property description, indicating that the lakes are a 15 minute walk from the Villa. This should read that it is a 15 minutes walk to the entrance of the woods, after which there is about a 2km walk to Plitvice Lake Entrance 2 where you buy your tickets!

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is an amazing natural...

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is an amazing natural wonder. We walked part of the E route and all of the F route. We accessed this from Entrance #2. Each route was very well signed. We highly recommend making a full day stop here and staying at a B&B close by.

The waterfalls were amazing.

The waterfalls were amazing. The color of the lake water was so clear, looked like glass. Rustiic boardwalks next to waterfalls added to the experience. Path markings made it easy to to find way around park.

We stayed here one night so as to be able to get up early to visit the Plitvice Lakes (which are amazing). The hotel is in walking distance from Gate 2, there is free parking and a pizzeria across the road. They offer a good buffet breakfast for a fee too. The room was clean and quiet.
