My 4th stay here, so I can only repeat: I have been traveling in Croatia since many years - meanwhile in all 21 counties (županije incl. Zagreb) - and I must have stayed in more than 30 different guesthouses and hotels. From the smallest family pension in the countryside to large 4-star hotels. And the Boutique Hotel Vela Vrata was one of my very best experiences ever! :D Beautiful, lovely decorated house and very clean room with nice furniture. This time I treated myself to the Junior Suite with balcony and the large room with its beautiful antique mirror is really a hit! Very friendly staff, SUPER breakfast with fresh and high quality food from a large selection!!! :D Well working WiFi, free parking and I also like the big indoor pool very much. Buzet itself is very romantic and beautiful. This time I have stayed for two nights on my way home to Dalmatia. The Hotel has a really supreme restaurant and it was wonderful to eat again one of the best dinner I had ever in Croatia. Another perfect stay and I will quite sure stay here again. This charming house with its amazing energy is on an excellent place if you are seeking for peace and tranquility. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can really feel that it was prepared with love and care by the owners. The owners are extremely kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful. The house is located in a peaceful area, ideal for relaxing and recharging, yet also a great starting point for some cycling or hiking trips in the beautiful surroundings of town Buzet. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with the option for active days in the surroundings along with some gastronomic highlights nearby. It is definitely the place I would love to return to and therefore highly recommended!

Just a perfect place to feel real Istria. The app it self is compact and cozy, house is renovated with respect to historical details. We wete welcomed very friendly, it was rainy and chill evening and heating was turned on upon our arrival, owners are really friedly and welcoming. Many thanks for this experience!

fantastic! the apartment is in it's own separate building, right on the edge of town overlooking the valley full of trees. It has a big patio, perfect for sunrise coffee and sunset wine :) It was also a good place to keep our two e bikes overnight. The apartment is well laid out, with lots of electrical outlets and a well equipped kitchen. The bedroom is separate from the kitchen/living area. The host is great, really friendly and kind, full of information. His collection of homemade liqueurs was really impressive!!
