The place is clean and the room with sea view balcony is just wonderful!! It is also at a accessible distance to the beach and town centre. Staff are very friendly to recommend nice beaches and restaurants around. The hair dryer in our room is not working and they got it sorted efficiently.

Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend. Loved everything about this hotel. It was so clean and modern and in a great location. The facilities of the hotel were amazing and the rooftop pool and spa was incredible. Staff were also so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you to make sure you enjoy your stay. The breakfast was also so good! Highly recommend!!

My recent stay at Hotel Bretanide in Bol Brač was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location is breathtaking. The facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. I would like to give a special thanks to Šerif, the barman, and Dominik, the animator guy, for their exceptional service during my stay. Šerif's drinks were always refreshing and perfectly mixed, and he was always happy to chat and make recommendations. Dominik's energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and he kept us entertained with fun activities throughout the day. Both Šerif and Dominik are exceptional employees, and I believe they would make excellent directors in the future. I highly recommend Hotel Bretanide to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation spot in Bol Brač.

The check-in process was quick and effortless, and check-out was just as seamless—no delays, no stress. Breakfast was ok, with a variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Our room was located above the cocktail bar, but that wasn’t an issue—in fact, we loved it! Since we visited the bar every night, the lively atmosphere added to the fun while still allowing us to relax in our room. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. And the location? Perfect! Just a short stroll to the beach, making it effortless to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea whenever we pleased. Highly recommend this place for a vibrant yet comfortable getaway

The owner of this family run hotel was so friendly and helpful, telling us all about the area as well as storing our luggage and advising on local trips. It is totally worth paying for the sea view room, and the hotel has an air of calm and peace. It is an uphill walk from the beautiful town. The small pool is a pleasant change from the sea. Would highly recommend

A beautiful place, incredibly central, close to the port, a supermarket, a pharmacy and many restaurants. The host was incredibly friendly, and super helpful with anything we needed (for example beach towels, which we had forgotten). The room was super clean and big, and the view was incredible.

Bol is one of those Dalmatian little town with just perfect mixture of nature attractions and nice architecture. A lot of little cafes and restaurants with good range of prices, so there is something for everyone. Must try vine and olive oil from Brač.

We loved Bol, it was a lovely resort with plenty of...

We loved Bol, it was a lovely resort with plenty of restaurants, great walks and beaches and it had a friendly, laid-back vibe with people of all ages. Zlatni Rat beach was lovely and when we were there it wasn't overly busy and although clearly set up for tourists they seem to have kept the balance just about right (although the sun beds and shades are ridiculously expensive at 39 euros per day for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), needless to say we didn't bother. The walk along the promenade to Zlatni Rat was gorgeous with lots to interest from interesting villas, bars, tourist gift stalls, sculptures and the tree cover made it shady and attractive. Equally the walk into town and the harbour and then further along to the monastery was also interesting and always something different to see. Food and drink is not cheap sadly but most of the meals we had were really good quality - for a special meal try Boket 78, our most expensive meal but the flavours were amazing. I had the lamb and it was one of the best meals I've ever had, hubby had the black risotto and he said it was full of flavour too. Also the vegan restaurant Biomania was lovely. We loved Bol and would happily visit again.

Gorgeous island. Great for lazy or active type of vocation. We did some kayaking, snorkeling, biking and “doing nothing” kinda of thing. I wish we spent more then 3 days there instead of going to Zadar and Zagreb (waste of time).

Beaches, restaurants, bars all had a good atmosphere. The people were very friendly. Easy to get to by ferry from other islands and the mainland (Split). Easy to walk around and a little train takes you to the beach and the hotels at .

A small, picturesque coastal town on the island Brač. In this time of the year it is vibing with peaceful, non-intruding atmosphere, nothing short from a carefully selected movie scenery of a typical adriatic costal town.

Perfect for a chill holiday.

Perfect for a chill holiday. Beautiful, lots to do, great restaurants. Would recommend the Golden Horn beach for a swim, booking SUP boards for some exercise and wine tasting at Stina winery. If you decide not to do the wine tasting tour, it's a lovely place to sit and drink their amazing whites on the promenade overlooking the sea. My favourite restaurant was Vendetta - Sushi boats for 2 are a must! Family run Pumparela restaurant at the Port was also superb, delicious food (including vegetarian for my daughter) and really friendly. Enjoy

We had an amazing stay at Villa Marina! It was my boyfriend's 40th birthday, and the hosts really went above and beyond in helping me plan a surprise for him (at the last minute). They put champagne, balloons and cake in our room prior to our arrival. They even made a reservation for me at a local restaurant! There is a small kitchenette where you can make a simple meal, which was a welcome addition after eating at restaurants during the rest of our holiday in Croatia. We sat and ate on the patio, overlooking to sea, which was magical!

Everything was exceptional. The resort is right on the promenade and less than a ten minute walk to Zlatni Rat beach and a ten minute walk in the opposite direction to Bol. We used both pools and both were lovely. The food was excellent and we never had to eat out - there was something for everyone. We had a medical emergency towards the end of the trip and the hotel staff could not have helped more. Thank you 🙏🏻

This accommodation was the best we have had in Croatia. The host was very kind and helpful and the apartment was spotless, spacious and bedding was very comfortable. The location is perfect being in the old town but just away from any potential noisy nightlife. The views are amazing. On the day we departed we had a late ferry and the host kindly let us leave our luggage and hang by the pool.

Hosts were lovely, let us into property. Lovely terrace area. Hosts gave us some fresh fruit as they grow their own veg. Lovely property with their own hens etc (reminded me of the Cotswolds in croatia). Rained the day we left and the host gave us a lift to the port without promting. Very sweet

Had a great time in Zlatni Rat: 🏖 Location couldn't be better: you basically live at the Golden Horn beach. 🍳 Very nice breakfast and for dinners you get 10% off in hotel restaurant as a guest 🛏 Room exceeded the expectations thanks to free room upgrade (thanks Miki 😊)
