Little oasis of calm, good facilities and great staff. Breakfast fantastic too. They have proper hot water. When you arrive as its through a garage/car port but once you go up to the rooms floor its peaceful and very nice

I had a lovely stay here! The staff were very friendly and accommodating - even offering a free laundry service and giving me a bottle of water for my long bus journey when I left. The food in the restaurant was also tasty and a good price. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved the staff who are really friendly, fun and helpful. Food was simple but very good and reasonable price, hot water and location is pretty good being next to other restaurants and a really good supermarket. We had a great stay here.

This apartment is amazing. You have a full kitchen, the bedroom is super spacious. The bathroom has everything one needs. The location is also good. As if all those points aren't already good enough the hosts are extremely kind and hospitable. They helped us with everything. They are one of the kindest people we've met in Guatemala and if we're ever back in Coban we'll make sure to stay with them again!

Coban is a relay station to reach other places in Guatemala...

Coban is a relay station to reach other places in Guatemala and as such, there is not a lot going on inside the city itself. I highly recommend taking half a day to visit Las Victorias National Park, which is inside the city limits. A former plantation, the park is replete with the flora & fauna of central Guatemala and has an amazing history! I went by myself on a Sunday morning (since I could not locate an organized tour) and every person I encountered on the trails stopped to chat and offer additional local knowledge.

COBAN is a very beautiful town and there is an Ancient...

COBAN is a very beautiful town and there is an Ancient Cathedral in front of the Central Park. There's a local market where you can find handwoven typical clothing and other handcrafted products made by the natives. There are good restaurants also, like HDR (Hacienda Don Rafa), El PE-NASCAL, where you can order dishes of Mayan origins, like KACK-IK for example. There are places of extreme beauty near Coban with plenty of very low price transportation. You can visit the Central Market located only 6 minutes on the outskirts of Coban. SO, TREAT YOURSELF BY VISITING COBAN!!!

It is just on the outskirts of Cobán and you can not walk into town easily, so it is limiting in that sense. There is a restaurant with a good breakfast, but other meals are basic with minimal choice. The surroundings are green and lush, which can make the rooms a bit damp and musty. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water (after you let it run a few minutes). The staff did not speak English but were all helpful.

Excellent garden, with many birds and a river just in front. The hotel arranged for us local tuk-tuk for the whole day and transportation back to Coban. Very helpful staff.
