A beautiful guesthouse in a beautiful location near the center of the village of Zagora. Magnificent views down into the valley. Everything was charming and clean, the service friendly and helpful. The accommodation didn't serve breakfast, but we got coffee with cookies, and we could also cook breakfast in the guest house's kitchen.

Fantastic location, great people, very clean. Rooms renovated. Beach umbrellas, carrimats, children's games for shared use by hotel guests. Common place to prepare coffee from the pot and cold meals. First of all, the owner is so kind, hospitable and helpful, that it made our stay special. The breakfasts were amazing, we were before high season there, and breakfasts were prepared just for us. We couldn't eat everything, as the were so plentiful. General the place is amazing, nice and big pool, private parking. Apartment clean and comfortable with beautiful sea view. Good location to visit the Pelion peninsula.

There are some very good restaurants and Chorefto is a long beach at the crystal waters of the Aegean sea (though we must admit that the sea is frequently too rough).

Zagora is a lovely village, however, due to its location far away from Volos, as well as its harsh history during the years of the Turkish occupation, it is less 'touristy' and certainly not as picturesque as some of the other villages of the Pelion. There is definitely a 'ruggedness' to the village. I would recommend visiting Zagora for a day or two, and certainly seeing the library, the Ellinomuseio, and the four churches (Agia Paraskevi, Agua Kiriaki, Agios Georgios, Sotira). In the summer, it is also worth visiting Chorefto beach. The best months to visit Zagora weather-wise are from May to September. I visited for two weeks in late October - the average high was about 12°C and while it didn't rain it was cloudy 95% of the time.

Zagora is a big village which, unlike a lot of Pelion villages, is not over-run with tourists. You can get the bus or drive to Chorefto Beach which is pretty stunning. We enjoyed exploring the village.

A small and beautiful family hotel, in a good location near the village square [where there are restaurants and bars], close to the supermarket. We actually got a large and comfortable suite with a bedroom + living room, and an excellent shower. Breakfast is served in the hotel's beautiful garden, overlooking the Agean sea. The breakfast is very rich and tasty, it changes every morning, and consists of fresh locally produced products. The owners are extremely nice and friendly, and are willing to help with any issue that the guests need.

Wonderful hotel in Zagora. Great location and view of the mountains. The hotel is run by a family. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. They put much love and attention in their hotel, creating a warm atmosphere. Maria at the reception went above and beyond helping us to print out our tickets for the ongoing journey and offered to prepare breakfast earlier especially for us. Having a small car, we were also able to park in the front yard of the hotel which was very convenient.

Wonderful location near the village center of Zagora. Nice buildings in the traditional architecture of Pelion, so it fits nicely into the surroundings. Room was very big, nice view towards the sea. Breakfast was sufficient, very greek, but nothing special. The staff was very nice.
