View from our room was stunning, just the right angle for a picturesque photo of the pool and the beach, with the blue skyline. Postcard like view every time we looked out our window. We had very friendly shuttle service to the marina centre and it was within walking distance for us to stroll back after sightseeing and shopping at the marina shops. Very friendly staff offerring us options to do recreational sports like table tennis in the outdoor area.

Beautiful new suite in a fantastic location, close ro the harbour. The kitchenette and coffee machine were a bonus and they were so accommodating to allow us to drop off our luggage and got our room ready in record time. Small touches in the bathroom, slippers, hairdryer, mirror in bedroom all these things go a long way. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Erato Hotel is a pleasant place to stay in Agia Marina. If you like a more relaxing and quiet atmosphere, then it's worth staying in Agia Marina rather than in Aegina town even if it makes getting there a bit more difficult (and costly if you miss the last bus and have to take a taxi instead). Within Agia Marina itself the hotel is located just far away enough from the most noisy part of town yet still close enough to get to where you need to go (restaurants, bus stop, beach) within just a few minutes' walk. The staff there also were very welcoming and friendly - check-in was a breeze. Breakfast also had a wide enough range of options. It also was nice to have a room literally right by the pool - the patio was a nice place to sit and relax (just be wary of the mosquitoes in the evening, though the hotel does conveniently provide anti-mosquito equipment if needed).

Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

April was too early to go to the beach and swim.

April was too early to go to the beach and swim. A few restaurants were open and a good supermarket with necessary items available. A short taxi drive 15eur to the Town of Aegina is recommended. No bus rides available at least in April. Souvala is a quiet place, but not too much to do.

Amazing location friendly and warm host and staff. A stay I would totally recommend if you are looking for something to ease your mind and enjoy the sounds of the ocean . The bohemian style combined with the traditional style of the room we stayed was a great way to enjoy our stay at the fullest. The host and his family were more than friendly and helpful to everything we needed and always ready to please us in anyway .Nice place to visit is Moni as u take a boat for perdika and you will be amazed by the scenery and crystal clear waters . We also enjoyed aigina as we mostly dined . Panta rei was a nice call day cafe-lunch -drinks were the staff is very friendly as well as the souvlaki place kipos in Shia marina was also good . The beach bar at marathona b beach was also a nice place to relax on the beachbeds at the beach and enjoy drinks or food .

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy beach to swim. There are some supermarkets and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Aegina town is approx. 20 min away by the bus (it costs 1.60 EUR) and only 2 times a day. Bus timetable is available in https://www.aeginaportal.gr/ktel.html

Small and quaint with small selection restaurants, hotels and a bakery. 2 beaches 1 with sand and beach bar, the other is where ferry ports and is small but with plenty of shade. You need a car to explore the island as souvala is very small

Souvala is a quiet little village and harbour but very pleasant for a short trip. We stayed just one night as a break from Athens and the ferry to Aegina Town was a relaxing way to arrive. Aegina Town is more sophisticated, but Souvala had a number of restaurants that looked good. The little beach was mainly used by local families and retired people so it was pretty quiet and had charm. We had a great brunch at the Azure Beach bar and would recommend Saronikos Restaurant for dinner - lovely food (try the local pistachio pesto) and wine - reasonable prices - and right next to the sea with a fantastic view.

Lovely spacious room with large balcony and sea views. Giorgos and Xena’s hospitality and helpfulness was exceptional. Pool area very large and relaxing. We got there by bus from Agina town OK so there are only 2-3 a day but the bus stop in Agioi just after Souvala is only 100m from the hotel perfect! There is also a large Kritikos supermarket 800m away which also unusually opens on a Sunday morning. The sea at the bottom of the road 150m away was wonderful to swim in warm and crystal clear!

Aethrio has a perfect location, right by the port of Souvala and just 10 minutes from Aegina’s main port. The staff are lovely and very friendly, and the apartment is equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Aegina!

I would say it is a 3+ star hotel not 2 as it is officially labeled The breakfast is excellent value for money though it is 75% similar each day (not a la carte or Swedish buffet) The restaurant is excellent compared to others on the island and prices are very good (4 persons we paid around 70-100 euro each time
