I loved the room with a balcony and the view of the sea, mountains, city. This hotel is not luxury but for a 2-star hotel I found it very good. The two receptionists were very very nice and talkative and full of good advice for both eating, tours, beaches and my travel further on to the south coast. Location is excellent, one minute from harbour front and all the restaurants and cafes and only five minutes from the big public parking lot.

Our stay was fantastic! My family was absolutely delighted. The apartment is beautiful, stylish, comfortable, and completely new. It’s really spacious — there were five of us, and there was enough space for everyone, so nobody felt cramped or in each other’s way. Being on the top floor, the terrace has a wonderful view of the sea and the central promenade. The best part is that it’s located in the heart of Sitia’s life and close to the sea, but since it’s on a pedestrian street, it’s quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. We definitely recommend it — and we’ll be coming back!

A really nice place to stay at! We were really pleased by it! The location is super central, you get everything you need around such as restaurants/bars/cafés, staff is nice and the view from the balcony overlooking the port is a real bonus! The flat is modern, it had all the amenities you could wish for. Although we read in the comments that people were annoyed by the noise, we did not experience anything unpleasant and had a pieceful night. All in all we would recommend it and would definitely come back next time we come to Crete!

Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

A lovely beachside town full of real Greek people, culture, restaurants etc. Perfect sea for swimming. No overrun with tourists. Sitia Beach Resort and Sitia Bay Hotel Apartments both wonderful places to stay.

The only problem i face every time i visit is that there's...

The only problem i face every time i visit is that there's no direct flight from Cyprus to Sitia, which makes the trip quite difficult. I have to make two stops, and the bus connection is challenging, with a winding road and a tiring journey of 3 to 3 1/2 hours, witch i will really consider to go again just for that. Because i leave my house early in the morning and i arrive very late at night time to Sitia. AND THAT IS VERY TIRING!

Visited Sitia a few times now but this was our first stay over. Such a beautiful city. Lots of independent shops with great products. Tavernas line the edge of the harbour serving local dishes. Zorbas is our favourite. And a beach to cool off on if it gets too hot. At night the city comes alive with colour and sound.

Sitia is one of those places that doesn’t beg for your...

Sitia is one of those places that doesn’t beg for your attention — but once you’re there, you never want to leave. It’s authentic, welcoming, and blissfully free from the overwhelming crowds of more touristy spots. I visited with my partner and we stayed at the Sol suite of Avra Maris, just a short walk from both the beach and the seafront promenade. Everything was within reach — an organized beach, cozy raki spots, seaside taverns with incredible food, and warm, friendly service. The atmosphere in Sitia is simply magical. At night, walking along the beach, you hear the waves blending with the soft chatter of locals and the irresistible smell of grilled octopus in the air. You don’t need much — Sitia gives you everything you need to truly unwind and recharge. If you’re looking for a destination where you can slow down, feel like yourself again, and rediscover what makes holidays meaningful, Sitia delivers — effortlessly, without trying too hard. And once you've been there, you'll find yourself wanting to return.

Greek town currently undergoing expansion.

Greek town currently undergoing expansion. Tradition and culture celebrated. Good public transport links to other towns, villages and beaches.Beautiful harbour and restaurants. Very friendly and welcoming people. Not yet spoilt by tourism, I hope this doesn’t change.

The property was located in the center, meters away from the main port and the heart of this beautiful city. The hotel itself is like finding a diamond in the rough as it is one of a kind for Sitia. It has all the luxury accommodations you would find in large hotel chains, and even exceeds them. The room was spacious, very modern and was equipped with both a full spa/Jacuzzi and a steam room. I enjoyed the stay and highly recommend anyone that enjoys a this part of the island to stay in this lovely hotel with eyes closed.

Simon Sea view deserves its name. It has the best sea view from any Greek property we have stayed in. We walked mostly direct from here, and on one day caught the bus to Ve from right outside. Flag it down. Pay on the bus. Plenty of tavernas in Sitia itself. House of Crete is especially good.

The Apollon Hotel is in a great location- close to the beach and lots of restaurants in the lovely town of Sitia. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a family of four. The owner George was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We hope to be back next year

Our room had a wonderful view of Sitia Bay and was extremely well-appointed. There was a private car park at the rear of the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, with a great choice of things to eat. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke English.
