Beautiful hotel with captivating view on Aegean sea. The host was really kind, we felt like we’re staying with our friends. He is super nice and good man, always there for his guests. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the food was delicious, with variety options, with many tradiotional dishes and salads. The room was spacious, very clean, modern, with spacious and modern bathroom, and nice balcony with sea view. Hotel has nice garden where you can chill out, private parking with enough places and beautiful and clean swiming pool. Place is good connected with nearby cities, especially if you rent a car.

Nice hotel on a beautiful place, kind and helpful staff. The bathroom should be renovated, but the room was good and clean. Food was OK, but not too varied for children. I enjoyed the stay here, would definitely recommend. :)

Eleven is a lovely little hotel in Stavromenos, about 10-15 minutes drive from Rethymno. I loved the pool, spacious room, view from the room, tasty breakfast and the staff. Everything seemed to be new, rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. It is a bit far from everything so car is recommended but this worked great for us as we wanted to spend our vacation in a quiet spot anyway. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Everything was great! The food was very tasty, the garden of the hotel very beautiful, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the view from the balcony.. I can still see when I close my eyes. We will miss Crete very much, we will definitely return to the same hotel, thank you to the nice ladies at the reception, the smiling waiters in the restaurant, the bartenders for the amazing cocktails! We had the best experience at The syntopia, blown away about the service, soooo good food, drinks, room and hospitality. The Syntopia is really the hotel to go to if you want a relaxing and luxury experience. Big thanks to Michael in the reception for taking such good care of us and made us keep our room full day for our late departure, really recommend to take the all inclusive part, then you will have the big range of drinks during the full day and the food was way over all our expecations. Also Harah from the pool service who always had a smile on her face and kept us hydrated by the pool every day. Rooms are also very high designed with inspiring interior. Highly recommend to book this hotel, we will defintely come back! Thank you, Frida & Olof

Very near the sea. 2 very good supermarkets, bakery and chemist. Good restaurants. Not hectic busy so excellent for relaxing break.Local villages of Asteri and Chamalevri within walking distance. As is Pagkalochori which has Asani monastery. Wonderful authentic Cretan experience.

People say not much there, but we felt it had everything...

People say not much there, but we felt it had everything there. Good supermarket, beach good as not spoiled by sun beds all over so you can actually see the beach. Several great bakeries and some good restaurants to choose from. Bus stop into city if needed.

Sfakaki is a nice area, a few tavernas with lovely food and great staff. Beach is about a 15 min walk. Supermarkets and coffee shop a short distance away. Regular bus into Rethymno. Options for day trips available.

We stayed for 10 days with family. Everything was nice. Good food, nice beach, helpful and friendly stuff, it's great that the hotel is fighting the "towel mafia" in the mornings. It’s a good place if you like a quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle. Room was clean, good AC, cosmetics were refilled every day.

The lady at reception was lovely and very helpful. She upgraded us to a sea view room, which was very kind. The beach was lovely, aside from an excess of rubbish - which is not the fault of the hotel. It was lovely to have waves and the temperature of the water was just right

We spent a great week at Anelia Serene Villa. The house was lovely, well placed for visiting Crete. The owners were extremely helpful. I would honestly stay here again with pleasure !
