Everything. Personnel was amazing, welcoming couldn't be better. It is nicely decorated, very clean, excellent location. Breakfast looked amazing and fresh (we regretted having to leave early), we had a breakfast to go in a bag, which was superb 😀 we'd love to fo back and stay longer!

Awesome hotel. We got an upgrade to a room that is normally never available, which has a private pool area. Even a bottle of prosecco was waiting for us. Absolutely loved the stay. Breakfast was good too. Thanks again for making this an unforgettable experience. Truly 10/10.

The fact that we totally relaxed throughout the 7 days, we felt welcome both by the owner of the Tarsanas hotel and by the residents of the beautiful city of Pytagorio. I really appreciate and am grateful for the facilities included in the price: breakfast on the terrace by the sea, fast wifi, deck chair on the beach, as well as for the personalized services received. I got exactly what I was looking for: unpretentious atmosphere, naturalness and uniqueness at a reasonable price. Hotel Tarsanas is a healthy stone house with wooden balconies and a sea view, surrounded by beautiful climbing flowers, a house with a unique personality and history of the owner George's family. The hotel is located right next to the sea, close to the harbor at 1 minute, from the heart of the city at 2-3 minutes and from the house of the cute street cats of Pytagorio just 1/2 minute. The atmosphere of tolerance, acceptance, enthusiasm and self-respect created by the cultured George, his friendly staff and the wonderful Vera left us with some of the most beautiful feelings of all the countries we visited. Finally, the summary of our impressions is a saying from the elders: it is said that "man sanctifies the place", which is absolutely concretized in the description of the Tarsanas hotel. If Samos is a natural diamond, then the hotel is a real pearl that deserves all the admiration and respect

It is a lovely village with much character.

It is a lovely village with much character. Calm and relaxing feel to the place. Great choice of places to eat and a good range of shops. Prices for food and drinks was reasonable.We visited in September and it was busy but not overly. We hired a car and visited some other sites on Samos. Prices were fair Ferry from Kuşadası is direct so no taxi or transfer required.

This feels like a boutique slightly upmarket place. Very pretty and picturesque but crowded. People are friendly and helpful, though. The beaches are very small and totally full of umbrellas. Not very relaxing at all. But good links, busses, affordable taxis to main town and archaeological sites. Also a catamaran ferry service to other islands. Ikaria, for example, is doable as a day trip. Enjoy the buzz in Pythagora but find a relaxing beach elsewhere.

A vibrant harbour with tavernas along the waterfront. Option to walk or drive to ancient theatre and Tunnel of Eupalinos. Shopping is reasonably priced. Beaches are crystal clear. Enjoy the vibe! And don’t forget to check out The Secret Garden for a sneaky cocktail or two.

We have always enjoyed Pythagoria, having visited over a period of more than 20 years and would strongly recommend it. Great Restaurants.Easy access with Hire Car to spots like Kokkari, Manolates, Psili Amos , the Monastery and Tunnel

We came to visit the ancestral home of our family in Samos.

We came to visit the ancestral home of our family in Samos. Our Grandparents were from two other towns on the Island. We visited 8 spots on the Island and were completely convinced that staying in Pythagoreion was the best choice. It offered convenience, sights, food, and history beyond anywhere else on Samos. Although small, it packs a big wallop of enjoyment.

Pythagoroion is the place where the city of Samos was...

Pythagoroion is the place where the city of Samos was located in ancient times. The port of Pythagorion is the oldest man-made harbor. The old quay wall can still be found near the Hotel Tarsanas, from where the sacred path leads along the beach to the Temple of Hera in Ireon. Above the town there is an ancient amphitheater where events are still held. From the amphitheater, a path leads up to the Spigliani monastery with its cave chapel. Also from the amphitheater you can easily find the way to the Eupalinos Tunnel, the oldest tunnel that was carved into the rock by counter-boring. It ensured the water supply of ancient Samos.

Everything was good . My room view was amazing right over from balcony you can see port and beauty of samos The owner of the hotel Petros was always friendly and helpful.As soon as i arrived they gave me piece of cakes and water and also when it comes to leave they also give me present to give my elderly family which is very nice of them . İ absolutely recommend this place and next time if could arrange to come samos Samaina is definitely right place to stay.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. When my son fell ill and was resting in the room, they kindly sent up a plate of fruit and some orange juice. It was a thoughtful gesture. The room I initially booked on Booking.com was a bit small, so I requested a larger one. Despite the hotel being fully booked, they managed to upgrade us for two nights at no additional cost. I am looking forward to visitng Samos and staying in Doryssa Theorem Hotel again.

What an amazing apartment-hotel, traditional style, clean and on the main shopping road of Pythagorio town. The apartments are big, comfortable with Wi-Fi, refrigerator, full equipment kitchen, balcony and shower. Is just 5min by walk from the port, 10min by car the airport and 15min the city of Samos by bus. Last and not least Mrs Ntina is one of the kindest person you ever meet, friendly, polite, she helps for everything you need.

Manolis and his wife were very kind and lovely . The hotel is at the center with a wonderful sea view. It was very clean and easy to go the most beatiful beaches. We are very pleased to be there and ıf we will visit Samos again, we know where we will be :)
