Aris is a charming host. He's attentive without being invasive, and a message away if you need him. He brought a bag full of organic fruit from his garden and there were drinks in the fridge when we arrived. The house is small, ideal for two, although it does sleep more. It is very clean and very well equipped. It is well renovated and quite lovely. It is in a small village, with only a taverna, and away from the crowds, which suited us perfectly. However, it is just off a main road with easy access to surrounding villages and towns. And within easy reach of Heraklion. All in all a very good choice for our holiday to Crete.

Very attentive host. Fridge stocked with fruit and water which was a lovely touch. House is brand new and well equipped, beautifully decorated Location was fantastic, with beautiful views about 25 minutes by car from multiple beaches There is also great restaurants around within driving distance.

We are so happy with our choice, will come back again 1000% we wanted something different, typical greek village, Zaros is beautiful you sleep with the crickets chirping and wake up with the rooster crowing. Tap water in Greece, NO! In Zaros you can drink it and we did, a lot! The owner was very nice and helpful, we had homemade lemonade, water, raki and a fruit plate waiting for us. Kitchen is equiped with everyting you need if you like to eat "at home" as we do. We saw the next day that there is a homecooked menu in the appartment possible, which you have to order the day before, we'll try that for sure next time. Nice big balcony, bathroom even has a washing machine. The village has minimarkets, cafes and restaurant, lake Zaros is just a few minutes away with the car.

The apartment was the highest quality of all places we stayed in Crete and even in general when we traveled around the europe. There was everything we needed there and more. Everything looked new, modern, clean. The hosts were friendly. The view (mountains ahead) from enormous balcony was stunning and it was a pleasure to eat breakfasts or dinners there.

Maria and Chris are amazing hosts! It’s very obvious they care for the place and put time and effort in maintaining it. Their hospitality was great! They came over to welcome me and were very helpful. Fragma Suite was very clean and comfortable. The location in a small mountain village (near Phaistos) was peaceful and great for relaxing. It was not that far away from grocery stores or any other shops/villages. Phaistos was about 7 min away and Matala was a 15-20 min drive. There is a private parking spot on the property which you can access through the gate. The small garden was lovely to wind down after a long day of travelling. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Fragma Suite to anyone!

We were in Crete in 7 places, little roadtrip. It was one of the two best places where we stopped. We loved that this house is in little village and you can feel peace and real Crete. Owner was very nice and caring. The house was very clean, tasteful and oranized. There was all what you need. Even washing machine. Detailed instructions for everything. My husband and doughter enjoied the really good gym in your own courtyard! Car is in your own garden and that was very comfortable. You have there two floors and your own yard. Two bathrooms (if you have teenage child you understand!!! :)). There were sunbeads. Very safe place! Only a little drive with car and there are food store and nice tavernas, too. Very good place to visit Matala beach. Roads are good and safe. It was my dreamhouse in vecation! Could have been there longer and I would visit again if I will go back in Crete. I recommend this house for my friends.
