Amazing little home set in the village yet only a beautiful stroll to gorgeous beaches. A home with furnishings of the highest quality with touches of luxury. Three air conditioners in this small home so heating or cooling is no issue. Sitting on own private terrace is a beautiful way to finish your evening out. Small village tavernas a stone throw away. The hosts were excellent. Can’t wait to stay there again! We travelled with our 7 month old and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

We came and stayed for 2 nights as family. It is very clean, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the house. Just across the beach. Location is amazing. Very close to shops and restaurants and beach. Has a nice terrace to enjoy your breakfasts at home. Airco works very well. All kitchen supplies are available. Owner is very responsive and helpful. No issue finding a parking place close by.

Nicholas House was easy to find, right on the edge of the old town. Everything we needed was just a few minutes away: Restaurants, cafes, bakery, market. The host was available when we arrived and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were clean. Extra blankets were available (we visited in April) Parking was available on the property, although during high season that might not be the case for all guests.

Lovely place in amongst beautiful scenery.

Lovely place in amongst beautiful scenery. There are nice places to wander and beaches are easily accessible. Nearby Molyvos can be reached in 20 minutes, absolutely beautiful place and fish at the harbour is an absolute must. Petra has lovely seafront tavernas and bars, Cristos is a must for traditional meat dishes (the kleftiko is the best I've ever tasted) It's pretty easy to get around locally by bus, taxi or the 'choo choo'. If you want to go farther afield perhaps get a car for the monasteries, petrified forest, ouzo factory etc. Definitely not a party town but if you want to just chill this is for you. I have visited quite a number of Greek islands and this is one of my favourites so far.

This review from September 29th is a correction. I really enjoyed the Alma Hotel, its gardens, bungalows, and lovely pool. The breakfast was superb, served in pretty rooms and on the terraces. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. Petra is nearby with convenient parking. There are also good tavernas.

If you choose to stay in Petra, be aware that you'll have to navigate the hilly roads each time you leave to explore the island. It also has a beautiful beach and evening taverns. The bazaar and the Virgin Mary Church are lovely. It's a quiet and pleasant area.

We love Lesbos, we've visited every corner of it, but we love Petra the most. We come here every year. The restaurants are very good, the food is delicious, there's a direct ferry to Petra, and the sea is very nice on the bus. I recommend it to everyone.

The old town is magnificent, a must-visit. But prices in Lesbos are rising every year, I think due to the overwhelming interest of Turkish tourists. A Greek salad, which cost 5-6 euros four years ago, is now 9 euros. All the food is the same. Turks used to go because the drinks were cheap, but now a 70 cl barbayani is 40 euros. We made people rich.

I didn't like Petrada REEF restaurant at all, both in terms of taste and approach. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially Turks. It's a beautiful, romantic city. We were a little disappointed by the rocky sea. I might return again in the future. We preferred the Molyvos area for dinner. It had some very nice restaurants and views.

Theodora Hotel, with its location, rooms, and friendly staff, is an excellent hotel. If you are looking for a place that is more authentic and clean rather than luxurious, it is a perfect choice. The hotel is almost 300 meters close to Petra Beach, where we spent most of our day. The breakfasts are simple but quite satisfying and sufficient. The most important thing is that the staff is friendly and helpful.

We were very happy with the parking. The room was clean, had an airco, very bright with a view at the curch of Petra. The bathroom was renovated and the mattress was very comfortable with a big bed.
