We came to Kalymnos for rock climbing and a more authentic Greek experience. Panormos is a short drive from Masouri, the hub of climbing tourism, so it was the best of both worlds. Roosters wake you in the morning rather than the buzz of scooters that dominates Masouri. The house is small ( of course) and comfortable, in a lovely environment. Cool bakery nearby, easy access to all Kalymnos offers in a relaxed setting.

Our host arranged a taxi to and from the port and a hire car in the middle of our stay. Host’s son was there to welcome us and show us around - so kind brought us some bread within 10 minutes of our arrival! So helpful and kind! Soothing sounds of waves as we fell asleep which was so relaxing! Studio has good supply of facilities. Bed really big and comfy. Small bathroom with a good sized shower.

We were so happy with Private House Niki Kalymnos. On arrival, the fridge was lightly stocked with essentials. Our host delivered freshly baked pastries. The house is immaculate with a fine kitchen, barbecue and a full flow of hot water in the shower. The views are amazing. It takes 10 minutes to drive to Masouri and two minutes to the best Supermarket on the island. Niki house made our climbing trip perfect!

We stayed in Platy Gialos apartment in Kalymnos with 7 people and had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious, with 3 floors and 3 bathrooms that made our stay really comfortable. The terrace is amazing, with a breathtaking sea view, perfect for spending time together. The kitchen was very convenient and well equipped with plenty of pots and utensils, and the fridge was really big, which we appreciated. We also liked having enough space to park our scooters safely inside the gate. Hope we will come back next year!

Everything was perfect ! The location of the hotel is the best in Myrties and Masouri. Drinking our coctails by the pool at the sunset is a wonderful experience. Even you can have a dinner or lunch (international cuisine) with a Telendos view. The staff are very helpfull and kind. The rooms are so well designed. dental kit or any other stuff is provided. The owners (husband and wife) are so welcoming and friendly. They made our vacation wonderful cause its my husbands 40th birthday they make us gestures. I wish to send them all best regards and thanks

Panormos is much quieter than Myrties and it has a big supermarket and a fuel station. But you need some sort of wheels to get to places as buses aren’t as frequent. We had a scooter and that worked for us well. As climbers we travelled everyday to different walls. Panormos offered the cheapest accommodation with facilities.

Panormos is a good place to stay when you visit Kalymnos...

Panormos is a good place to stay when you visit Kalymnos island because of its location (close to the port, Kalymnos capital, museums, sightseeing and to beaches and restaurants on the other hand). The problem with all of the island is that there are nowhere sidewalks and streets are so narrow that if two cars meet one of them should back off , because there is not enough space for both of them (!!!!) and pedestrians are in a real danger .

I was on a climbing holiday and it was much more peaceful than Masouri, if that is what you like. Meeting friends in Masouri in the evening was awkward because of travel and drink driving. However, I did drink less as a result and probably felt better.

good restaurants, good bus service, helpful people, close to beach, good walking area. superb scenery, good centre for visiting other areas of the island. Panormos is sometimes spoilt by noisy motorbikes/ scooters in early hours and of course the area suffers from exaust pollution. The area is renowned for climbers, if that is your choice, swimming is safe in main beaches on the island. Walkers are well catered for on the many paths on the hills.

The location and terrace are truly exceptional, with a sea and sunset view. All you can hear are the waves and the birds. The accommodation is clean and equipped with all amenities. The owner is wonderful, extremely kind, and attentive to her guests' needs. Highly recommended. P.S.: If you have trouble climbing stairs, it's best to ask for a higher-level accommodation.

The room was clean, tidy and comfortable for two people while the hostess (Mrs Evdokia) was very helpful and nice to us. She came to pick us up from the port on the day of our arrival and dropped us to the port when we had to leave free of charge. The location is great as it’s close to supermarket, great restaurants and the Kantouni beach.

I’d like to thank Anastasis and his wonderful family for the amazing days on Kalymnos. Everything was perfectly clean and well organized, and any issue was solved immediately. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, just a few steps from a lovely beach. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to come back one day.

the hotel's location was perfect. It has taken 5mn to the beach by car, close to the port. It was possible to arrive at the hotel by local transport too. there was 3 restaurants (one of them was horrible), 1 mini market(buffe), 1 pharmacy, 1 Cafe, 1 toys shop, 2 gas stations near by hotel and 1 car rental office under it.

From the minute we arrived to the sad day that we left, we were made to feel the most welcome. It was great to get to know the staff, and see the pride they take in taking care of the guests and the hotel. The beach side location couldn’t have been better.
