Fantastic view from the room. We were so lucky to stay here. We were looking forward to seeing great and worldwide sunset from the best position and here is the best position! You can see sunset from Oia castle, however, you can dominate the view from here. I would recommend staying here if you want to avoid crowds and dominate the view. The room and in-room pool were clean. There is a large basins in bathroom.

At first I was hesitant to book Elysian Retreat, since it was not view appropriate, like all the other hotels in Oia or Fira facing the Caldera. Hotels with view of the caldera are with no doubt exceptionally unique, but in our times their prices have gone way up. At Elysian Retreat you get a spacious villa with a private pool right in front, at a reasonable price. With only 10 villas (no children allowed), at this Retreat you'll get the chance to unwind and enjoy this serene place to its maximum. I also enjoyed the option of having our quality breakfast or lunch served in our balcony, which felt like being pampered each day. If you want to leave your room there is also another bigger pool to visit, where all the guests hang out. Lovely add to that setting, is their vintage canteen truck that serves drinks, coffees & snacks at any time. The Highlight of our stay were Eleni & Panos! Both always at your disposal, communicating with them even through WhatsApp, they were eager to serve you at any time or even give you suggestions of things to visit or even book. Panos suggested us an amazing taverna at Messaria (Ta Postalia tou Aigaiou), only mainly known to the island's locals. We had an amazing lunch there and I would definitely recommend. Another good suggestion of Panos, was Hassapiko (MaryKay's Bar) in Oia. We had the most Fabulous Cocktail's there. Another Day we also followed Eleni's suggestion to book a semi-private luxury (Sunset boat tour-Lucky8), in order to experience the Caldera at its finest hour. It was Totally Worth it! If I had to visit Santorini again, this would be the place to stay once again!

Even though the views are not on the side of the caldera, they were very pretty as you could see the sea. The pool area was very nice and the room very clean and comfy. The hot tub was great (a bit dirty perhaps) and the breakfast way better than what you usually encounter in this places. Great stay!

Absolutely beautiful from the interior, to the pool area, to the amazing view. Location perfect as close to shops and restaurants. It was such a bonus that there was a self contained apartment next to the pool especially if travelling with another couple or older children. We stayed for 4 days.

We stayed for 4 days. Great views, lots of walking up and down stairs. Many places closed due to the winter/off season, but still had some options for food, tours, and shops. Beware of the many stray cats and some dogs. Also since there are not any vehicles in the main housing section the workers use donkeys to transport materials. this inevitably leads to poop on the sidewalks

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular.

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular. It is packed with tourists for a well deserved reason. It is totally touristy, expensive, but we can overlook that and the crowds because of that view. Finikia, just adjacent is much quieter. Still, Oia is Oia, only one. Very much recommend Roka restaaurant.

We loved staying in Oia, mid October had perfect weather! The crowds were not too bad expect for when the cruise ships came in, we avoided the town from 10am to around 1:00pm, evenings during the sunsets it gets crowded but it worth it to watch the sun go down, the sky lights up and is so beautiful, you can't miss it. Schedule a catamaran or private boat cruise, we highly recommend getting on the water to see it from the sea. Great shops and restaurants, you have to have the gelato at Lolita's, it's the best I've ever had!

The natural landscape is beautiful ! The market has so much to see with charming churches with different blue roof tops that match in perfect harnony with the white houses and the blue sky ! What a charming place !

Everything in Oia is great - it’s so beautiful that not even...

Everything in Oia is great - it’s so beautiful that not even the crowds are a problem! There are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants that you’re spoilt for choice. Definitely recommend one of the sunset cruises and also touring the wineries and archeological centre in Akrotiri.

Crowded with cruise ship visitors but only during mid-point of day. Once we figured out layout, easy to get around. Lots of stairs, so be prepared. All was welcoming. Especially all the tours and guides. Wine-tasting and catamaran tours great. E-bike was a bit more difficult than I anticipated - but probably more about my fitness level - not the tour. Tour guide really looked out for me. Santorini exceeded our expectations.

Whoever says money can't buy happiness hasn't discovered Oia Spirit Boutique Residences. This is probably the best hidden gem in Santorini, set right next to the blue domes. One of the blue domes was on our balcony ! Mary helped us with answering all the queries, and the hotel staff Mario was there from early morning till late at night, helping us with the bags, restaurant suggestions, and refilling the lovely wine if Santorini that they make locally. Will definitely visit again.

The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the centre of Oia. The Majestic Suite is absolutely amazing with a stunning caldera view, and we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset while chilling in the pool. The room is comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel staff is also very friendly and they offered late check-out to us before we asked. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Santorini and can't wait to come back again.

Great accommodation with an amazing pool area, you could even order food and drinks to the pool deck area. The hotel was also extremely clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Additionally, every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast by the pool. I loved our time at Anemoessa Villa and would choose to stay there again when visiting Santorini (Oia area) without hesitation. We loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Museum Project. Evaggelia really went above and beyond to help us with any questions / bookings - thank you so much! The room was perfect with a large bathroom and private terrace. The hotel was in the centre of Oia, but still felt calm in the day and quiet at night. Would recommend to anyone looking for a boutique hotel in Santorini!
