I was only two days in lefkada and i visited the more...

I was only two days in lefkada and i visited the more popular beaches on the other side of the island, so I really didnt walk around Nikiana and get to explore the neighborhood. Only 15min drive to city of lefkada.

A small town: it is not suited to a party crowd or those...

A small town: it is not suited to a party crowd or those wanting karaoke, English breakfasts or food pictures outside of restaurants. There are enough eating establishments to have varied experiences during a stay. The shingle beaches are not the organised type: No shade; sun beds only available from individual accommodations; no banana boats or pedalos, and steep, sharp, stony entrances into the sea. If that all sounds negative - best choose elsewhere!

It is a small city with some nice restaurants with sea front views in the marina area. If you are young and prefer active night life probably not the perfect fit, but for a one night out there are some clubs nearby in Nydri.

Picturesque village.

Picturesque village. Quiet and low key with a lower tourist footfall. Close to lefkada town. NV beach bar is a nice little beach club which is popular. Lots of little coffee shops and bakehouse and street coffee are really popular with some lovely treats available.

It had everything we needed for a perfect holiday, including a wonderful pool to relax and enjoy. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with plenty of suggestions and detailed instructions that made our stay in Lefkada even more enjoyable. The beach is right downstairs, and it's so beautiful. The sea is calm, and it's not deep at all. Great for having long days at the beach. Lefkada is terrific, and Nikiana (where NV is) is calm enough to have a good time away from so much chaos. But if you want to do more, you should consider staying at Nydri, which has the port and so much more to offer, also more people and chaos :P.

Very clean rooms, it looks better in reality than in pictures to be honest. Air conditioning, comfy bed, clean bathroom with free shower gel and shampoo if u need. The staff was the kindest. If we ever come back to Lefkada this would be the place to return.
