It was amazing! The room was very clean, it provided everything we needed - big bed, giant wardrobe, a lot of storage space, fridge, mirrors, the balcony was quite big and had an amazing view. The hotel is a bit far from Nikiana,but you don’t need it to be close, because it provides excellent food at reasonable prices, coffee, you have a great pool and if you own a car - getting to the beaches won’t be a problem too. You can ask for a taxi and it’s only 10 euro to get to Nydri (which has a lot of beach bars and restaurants). The thing i loved the most is how friendly and welcoming the staff was - they were amazing, careful and caring. Would love to come back to this hotel!!!

The apartment’s location is excellent! Just below the property there is a small dock where we enjoyed morning SUP rides, and the small Pasa beach is only 2.5 km away perfect for relaxing days in natural shade when we didn’t feel like exploring the island. Within a 5 minute drive you’ll find plenty of small restaurants and bakeries, while most other attractions are less than a 30 minute drive away. The staff was wonderful - the kind lady at the reception checked in with us every day to make sure everything was fine, and anything we asked for was promptly provided. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Matina Studios is the one accommodation you will surely have a chill holiday experience. They won’t be in your face all the time but you do feel they care for you on a high level. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the housekeeper takes excellent care of giving you clean towels, bedsheets, making sure the apartment is waiting you clean once you get back from a long beach day or hike. Highly recommend everyone to stay here if coming to Lefkada! 🏖️

The hosts were amazing! They greeted us, gave us a map of the island with amazing beach recommendations as well as a list of amazing restaurants and bars to try out. They greeted us every single day, opening doors and cleaning perfectly the room. They even gave us a gift and woke up at 6 a.m. to say bye to us. We really really loved our stay. The apartment is very close to Nikiana center and had a beach with sand and pebbles nearby!

I was only two days in lefkada and i visited the more...

I was only two days in lefkada and i visited the more popular beaches on the other side of the island, so I really didnt walk around Nikiana and get to explore the neighborhood. Only 15min drive to city of lefkada.

A small town: it is not suited to a party crowd or those...

A small town: it is not suited to a party crowd or those wanting karaoke, English breakfasts or food pictures outside of restaurants. There are enough eating establishments to have varied experiences during a stay. The shingle beaches are not the organised type: No shade; sun beds only available from individual accommodations; no banana boats or pedalos, and steep, sharp, stony entrances into the sea. If that all sounds negative - best choose elsewhere!

It is a small city with some nice restaurants with sea front views in the marina area. If you are young and prefer active night life probably not the perfect fit, but for a one night out there are some clubs nearby in Nydri.

Picturesque village.

Picturesque village. Quiet and low key with a lower tourist footfall. Close to lefkada town. NV beach bar is a nice little beach club which is popular. Lots of little coffee shops and bakehouse and street coffee are really popular with some lovely treats available.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The accommodation was brand new and beautifully designed with attention to every detail. It had everything we needed for a perfect holiday, including a wonderful pool to relax and enjoy. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with plenty of suggestions and detailed instructions that made our stay in Lefkada even more enjoyable. Truly one of the best places we’ve stayed in, highly recommended!

The owners kept in touch and advised necessary information, it was very easy to contact them. I had injured my foot before arriving and was at the port with luggage. They picked me up and put my luggage in the apartment and called a doctor to take me to the medical centre. Also assisted with the transfer to Lefkada Marina. The service was beyond - and the apartment was perfect!
