This was the first time I didn't have photos from my vacation. The city is poor, with only one street and a short promenade next to the beach. The beach is ok with lots of restaurants and deck chairs. The only good thing is the Sahara beach which is 10 minutes away by car. Sahara Beach is pure perfection and the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The Jukebox Café is the best with delicious food and sun loungers on the beach.

Small coastal town where you can find long sandy beaches, clean sea and air, a harbour, plenty of restaurants and shops - and all that only 45km south of Thessaloniki. Locals are friendly and the town is full of tourists from late spring to autumn, especially on weekends.

On destination there is large supermarket in Nea Kalikratia. We booked a room with sea view and main square view. The terrace was very nice. The room and bathroom were very clean, the owners were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good. There is free parking around the hotel. The price for the value was very good. There are a lot of options for food nearby and also in the restaurant of the hotel. You can buy from the owner home made olive oil and honey. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, we felt very good.
