Management and Staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating and I was very pleased with the stay as the whole family were. Staff went out of their way to make your stay better and were exceptionally friendly. We would certainly come back again to the hotel as many people seem to also do.

The property is super clean, beautifully kept, great rooms, a nice bar, two lovely pools and across the road to a beach. The staff are wonderful particularly the reception lady who was genuinely interested in your experience and fantastic at making your stay the best. It was my first solo holiday and I booked it by accident. What a Great accident! This trip has given me back the confidence to travel alone. The hotel is geared towards giving you the choice of making friends or enjoying your own company. The people were lovely and I ended up going on a great trip with them. There is a mixture of ages but of course its luck so just go with an open mind as I did. As someone who travels a lot alone but never to a solo hotel it was brilliant to be around like minded people who you could go places with. It’s a little outside of the town which was not a problem at all as it’s a short bus ride anywhere. There is a reason so many people go back and I definitely will as well!!! If you go with an open mind you will have a fantastic time!!!

This hotel is exceptional value for money. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and Anna had some excellent local recommendations. The pool is a great size and we had it to ourselves for the majority of our stay. Our room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the strawberry daiquiris were delicious.

We were welcomed by the lady and than in a bar, whenever we chose to visit, served by a man and his son. All were amazing. Even organized a "cretan night" once, with dancers and it played out great. If we had any questions, they anwsered straight away. The location is near chania, 2nd biggest city and equally far from beaches like Elafonisi, Preveli and Balos, which are all great experiences. Rooms were cleaned DAILY at around 11. -12. Hours. U can eat in the complex, swim in the pool, hit the table tenis, or billiards/pool table. It was all perfect and theres nothing i would really want to change. The parking, as said in many other comments is perhaps a bit small, but you will always have a place to put your car, so dont worry about that. Just might take a minute or 2 longer to park. The wifi was annoying, sometimes working, but than often being overloaded because you know... The hotel was full, but thats understandable. If you wanted to google something, u could. It would just take a bit longer to load. These are the EXTREMELY little things i mightve tweaked a bit, but theres really nothing negative to say about the place. All in all just an amazing experience.

We have spent two weeks in Traditional Seaside Cottage Chania. The house is big enough for two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The cottage is fully equipped for living, very comfortable and clean. A big terrace with a large table to spend evenings and rest after exploring Crete is brilliant. Large dining table inside, perfect for family breakfast. Balcony on the second floor (sea view), air conditioners in each room, absolutely all kitchen equipment, two TV sets with plenty of programs, washing machine and much more. Even a Moka pot and filtered coffee machine are there. We have found sugar, coffee, tea, fresh water, juice, a huge plate of fruits... No need to go shopping at once after arriving. The house is prepared for trouble-free holidays. All equipment is in mint condition. The interior is bright and very cozy. Area around: Quite good local Rapaniana beach 400m away. Mini market (snacks, drinks, water stuff) 300m away. Small but really good, for kids, Selini Aquapark: 700m. The bakery, food shop, and family restaurant "Kriti" are also about 700m away from Seaside Cottage. Supermarkets (Lidl and one other), leisure areas with pubs, family restaurants, street food, and gift shops are about 15 minutes away by car. Generally speaking, locations are really good for exploring the island. Chania and Kisamos are about 30min by car. Rethymno - 1h. No worries about car parking, there is plenty of free space near the house to drop your car. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Owners: George and his mum met us at the Traditional Seaside Cottage and were surprised with hot home-cooked food (Moussaka). Trust me, after a long flight and driving, tasty homemade food is the best that can happen. We are very grateful for this. It's the best welcome we have ever experienced. George helped us a lot during the trip with advice, a must-visit list, and so on.

Great place for staying in Maleme. Just near the beach, restaurants and shops a few minutes. Accomodation, reactivity and flexibility of the host. Appartement was clean and comfortable. Overall higly recommanded place!

A sleepy place in September just right for us alongside a...

A sleepy place in September just right for us alongside a quiet road but ideal for exploring. Maleme has a number of tavernas all of which had lovely food and ambience beside the sea. You could also find restaurants and tavernas in villages in the hills close which we enjoyed exploring.

It is unspoilt and part of Crete away from the madding crowd but with all the things one needs for a good stay on this beautiful island. There is a supermarket, a choice of local restaurants, local produce and products, car and bike hire, hair salon and not too far from the busy lplaces such as Platanisa and Chania for more choices in shopping and amusemwnts if that is what one wants

Small and quiet resort with mainly big all inclusive resorts. Some very nice restaurants (Waves - particularly their burgers; Mythos; Black Lantern - homemade mousaka and Sunday roasts). Lifeguarded beach which was nice but often windy with waves which made it dangerous to swim in.

Excelent location, near a promenade with several tavernas...

Excelent location, near a promenade with several tavernas and Shops, supermarket nearby within walking distance. The Villa has all amenities one can wish for, fluffy towels, great linen, even bathrobes and slippers. Towels for the sunloungers onsite and for the beach. Design and layout very spacious and everything is just perfect. The best surprise was a great host in Chara. She awaited uș with cold drinks and a great wine in the fridge, fruits and fresh cheese and bread. Chara made is feel as if we were friends visiting from day one. She gave great tips for dining and tours….overall the best villa and experience in 20 years with this type of vacation. Allowed for quiet relaxation or perfect start off point for nearby exploration. Loved the possibility for swims in the sea and walking back to the cosyness of the sun-loungers in the villa. One always has the possibility to spend the days at seaside on one of the free spots (free sun-loungers) on the beach bars/tavernas along the promenade/beach. Great host and great villa. In short: FABULOUS.

A few good little restaurants by the beach.

A few good little restaurants by the beach. Maleme Taverna / beach bar has great food and the sun loungers are free if you eat there. Same with Mythos bar, also good food at the Wave. Friendly helpful staff in all restaurants. I would stay away from the bigger hotels for food if you want good local quality food.

The location is fantastic with sea views, the owners and staff are very welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained, along with the pool. GT Beach is a great place if you are looking for a place to chill by the pool or beach, this is the place for you. Although GT Beach is on a strip of other hotels, it is apart from the rest so you have the feeling of separation from the crowds while being in a location that is central to all the amenities you would ever want ie: Bars, Restaurants, shops and of course Beaches...

The staff were amazing friendly, very clean hotel and the food was the best. They did amazing Greek and Asian nights. The was entertainment every night. Me and my daughter were doing the water rides everyday and felt like I was a kid again. It was relaxing and amazing. We also tried the spa facilities and my wife and daughter loved it. The town is down the road using the motorway, easy access to Chania for and day or night visit. We visited Chania everyday, also good distance to Elafonisi.

A wonderful place to relax! Many thanks to all the hotel staff for their attentiveness, responsiveness, willingness to help, especially Christine. Our little son loved her very much) The hotel grounds are perfectly clean. The cleaning in the rooms is top notch. The food is simple and delicious! You can hear the sound of the waves, the sea is very close. Not a crowded neat beach. There is a good pool and a small slide for children. We liked everything, and we will definitely come again.

This place was just wonderful. The hotel is located in a small town Maleme and you have only 1 minute walk to the beach. The room was pleasant, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel also has its own swimming pool, which the children really enjoyed. Thanks to the staff, especially Sophia, who was really kind and helpful. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Lovely service, comfortable apartment at walking distance from the beach which is the least crowded around Chania in summer. From the house to the beach bed and restaurant it takes 1 min walk. The staff at the restaurant are also very kind and serve great food and drinks. We will come back!
