Staff was super friendly, we arrived 2hrs before official check in time and they were able to provide us our room earlier. We had a wonderful stay at Pidna Hotel in Leptokarya. We stayed in a comfortable two-level room with a bathroom on each floor, both with a shower and toilet, as well as a small kitchen equipped with a stove, refrigerator, and all necessary utensils. The room was very clean and well-maintained, with bed linen and towels changed every other day. From the balcony we enjoyed a lovely view of the sea, while modern Daikin air conditioners kept the room pleasantly cool even on hot days. The owner personally welcomed us and made sure our stay was worry-free. A highlight of our trip was being treated to an exquisite Malagouzia wine, which we enjoyed so much that we bought a whole case to bring home and relive the memories of this warm and cozy place. We will be happy to return!

As a base it’s ok to explore the surrounding beaches, that said I wasn’t impressed with the beaches either but then I had just come from Halkidiki, Sithonia and the beaches there are beautiful so perhaps I’m being a bit unfair. Skotinis beach and in the opposite direction le moon beach bar on Mylos beach were my favourites. Platamonas is nice to have dinner & a walk one night. As is Nei Pori. Leptokarya itself is bigger than you think but just feels run down somehow. Not a place I’d go back to.

Leptokaria is great for families with kids as it's safe and...

Leptokaria is great for families with kids as it's safe and all facilities are available. We didn't use the local beach,we visited by car all beaches around as my daughter is still small and didn't like small stones on the beach in Leptokaria. I highly recommend the The Olympus Geological History Museum, it's an extremly interesting place(rather for older kids/adults).

Leptokaria is one of the cities that really suit your needs if you like to visit many places in Pieria like Platamon, Skotina, Olympus mountain , Dion etc Sea is not excellent but i would suggest to have a car and drive to close by beaches. It has a long road with full touristic stores ( maybe interesting for the foreigners ) and lots of cafeterias , restaurants, playgrounds I would suggest for 3-4 d vacation

It's a lively and a beautiful city that has grown a lot over the past 20 years. It's divided in two parts. The part of the city by the beach (mainly the tourist part) and the part where people live and kids go to school and families to church ... There are a lot of restaurants, local shops, greek markets and a LIDL. The prices are much cheaper than on Halkidiki, which makes it a perfect vacation place. It has a beautiful sandy beach with bars but also a lot of free space to lay your own ammenities. And if you get bored (which I don't see how) there are places nearby that you can try ex. Maze Maze bar in Litochoro, The Byzantine Castle of Platamon or maybe even New Poroi.

It is very quiet and pleasant, around the accommodation there is a large yard with greenery that is properly maintained. It is located behind the Poseidon Hotel which is the largest in the area so you can use its facilities. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful! Recommendation for this accommodation!

The beach and sea are really close. Pool is great. Apartman is clean and well equipped. Breakfast is delicious and huge portion. We tried every meal from the menu card, it was very good. Ladies at the receptions are super kind. Eleni is my favorite. I give Five Stars to the hotel 😊
