The location of the house is stunning, the house itself is beautiful and the attention to every little detail is incredible. We had the warmest of welcomes from the host when we arrived who were rightly proud to show us around the property. They really have thought of everything and there were some really lovely touches… several types of coffee, the heating was running and plenty of wood for the fire. Nothing felt like too much trouble and the host has thought of literally everything that you might need to enjoy your stay and feel like home.

The hotel is wonderful but the owner and staff are incredible! Warm, welcoming and hospitable, as if they were opening the doors to their home with all of the comforts you need. The location is ideal, just a short walk the Main Street, museum, train station and town square. The homemade breakfast was OUTSTANDING! Fresh, varied, satisfying. We can’t wait to visit again.
