Lefkada town is just a short drive from the villa and there is free parking close to the harbour, so it is easy to take a short drive, 3 minutes, or long walk into town. Fabulous restaurants and bars once you get there.

Most people come here for sailing.
Most people come here for sailing. It's a busy little town with lots of tourist activities such as shopping and to Taverna's for eating. It's recommended to get a hire car and there's a few places in town where you can hire a small vehicle for a good price. Most of the good beaches are on the west coast. It can take between 30 and 70 minutes to get there.

Lefkada town was small enough to explore.
Lefkada town was small enough to explore. Lots of friendly cats. Good food. A variety of shops. We went in time for the International Folklore festival which was a bonus!! This was a wonderful experience!!! August 20-27. The bus system - KTEL - was efficient, affordable and accessible. The Milos Orlof Beach Resort was 10 minutes walk from our villa. The host Dinos and his team -Yannis and Aleki -were very welcoming. The beach was lovely and we could watch the windsurfing all day there. Most of the beaches had pebbles and were rocky so having water shoes with rubber soles will help with getting in and out of the water.

Lefkada Town is busy with lots of great boutiques, shops and restaurants. It is well equipped with supermarkets, coffee shops and a great bakery right next to the taxi rank. There is a beautiful marina but no beach, I would recommend staying on the outskirts to the west and travelling in for a meal or shopping so you can get the best of both worlds.

Couple of nice beaches, but they are overcrowded, super expensive and rude Greeks trying to steal your money. Filthy toilets in the most tourist locations and the Municipality of Lefkada is one of the worst. Our car was blocked in a proper parking space outside the Cityhall due to a flea market and they wouldn't let us leave. There was no sign, we called the police, we were right, but there was nothing they could do. Horrific experienceGRTravelerMalta

We were allowed to unpack our car while our room was getting ready and we headed to the beach. The apartment was perfect for a small family. We are a family of 4 and fit perfectly. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you may need. I really loved the location, we were close to a supermarket and a bakery and Lefkada town was a short walk away. We really enjoyed our visit and plan to come back!DemetraGreece

The hotel looks brand new (probably recently renovated) and our room was very clean. The highlight of the room was the very comfortable and king size bed, amazing for a good night sleep. The staff were very friendly and they went above and beyond to clean our room and let us check in earlier since we arrived in the island very early in the morning. We took advantage of their delicious breakfast which included the best pastries we’ve had thus far on our travels. Thanks George for making our stay extra special! The hotel has a great view of Lefkada town as it's on the hill and it's nicely decorated and kept. The room was clean, although a bit small. There was no safe in the room. There's no space to leave the luggage in the room. The breakfast was solid.

Ask the owner about the buses, you can easily get to the good beaches and other towns using them for a fraction of the cost of hiring a car or taxi. The villa was very clean and equiped with all (and more) that you need - great kitchen equiped with EVERYTHING, even food for breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Great garden for kids. Great BBQ. Excellent wifi. We will definitly choose the same villa for the next trip in Lefkada! Thank you for the amaizing holiday!
