The location was perfect for us-close to friends and a short walking distance from the central square. It's a nice little town on the side of a hill of more than 40.000 people with a nice town center and walkway and a very serious parking problem. Great stores with nice food and friendly locals. They say it's great on Halloween.. I will visit again then

Great little small town in central Greece - my husband's...

Great little small town in central Greece - my husband's village not far from there. Beautiful part of Greece - great starting point for day trips into the magnificient surrounding area (Edessa, Meteora etc.). Visiting the Saturday Bazaar (greek version of our farmer's market) is a must - it's just so neat and the prices of fresh veggies and fruit - unbelievable. The town goes back to the 15th century - lots of history trying to get rid of the Turkish occupation - nice little museum for local culture.

A quiet town, far from the usual tourist crowd.

A quiet town, far from the usual tourist crowd. In the center, the plateau is very lively thanks to the street musicians. Their music is better than any of the surrounding restaurants. Thanks to that, we missed dinner, but we don't regret it. We enjoyed! We did not have time to visit the city and its surroundings in more detail, and we will do so next time. For now, the city captivates with its authentic and relaxed lifestyle.

Kozani isn't a tourist hotspot.

Kozani isn't a tourist hotspot. It's a typical small Greek town with a lot of hustle and bustle in the center streets. I know it from before and I noticed the many closed shops.

We were halfway between Meteora, which we had visited, and...

We were halfway between Meteora, which we had visited, and Vergina, which unfortunately had a very short stay and which we didn't get to visit (the tomb of King Philip II of Macedon). I recommend restaurants in Greece that are very good and inexpensive. I will return to visit the tomb of King Philip II.

Nice enough hotel, we need something to stay at overnight on our way to Southern Greece. The hotel was easily accessible and was well sign-posted from the road, there was a large parking, where we found a spot to park our car easily enough. The check-in process was quick and smooth as well. Plentiful breakfast, though I wish it had included less junk food and had some vegetables / fruits added too.

The house is very spacious, clean, and has a good yard. The weather was a bit cold but there was a good heating system in the house so everything was great. It's situated in a small village near Kozani. The place is very quiet and good for relaxation. Next to the house there is a football pitch so if you are with kids it's great to have some fun.
