We really liked the apartments - wonderful, new, with new appliances, a coffee maker, etc. We would like to express our gratitude to the owner of the apartments, Eva. Eva is a very kind and attentive hostess: from the welcome fruits, cakes and wine to the advice on choosing the best restaurants with the best prices in the local area. Also, thank you very much for the beach chairs and beach umbrellas that you provided us with for free during our visits to the beach. Thank you very much again, Eva! Regarding Kolymvari. A beautiful town, with a lot of restaurants and an ancient monastery, which is located very close to the city and is worth visiting. Regarding the beach. The apartments are really located literally less than a minute walk from the beach, which could not but please us, as big lovers of swimming. The beach is clean, very large and long, there was enough space for everyone. Perfect for a quiet family vacation, there were many young families with children and seniors. The sea was excellent, calm and warm, only once there were small waves. We really loved the place and strongly recommend everyone to visit both Kolymvari and Eva's apartments!

Beautiful villa, superb location 5 mins from the beach with spacious living and bedrooms, ample wardrobes and a fantastic private pool (which we used often!) Excellent local restaurants within walking distance and 5 mins from the very good bus service (travel early) going West to Kissamos or East to Chania. The villa is fully air conditioned with easy to use control units which we liked very much. We didn't cook at the villa but there is a fully stocked kitchen should you with to. The hosts were exceptional, met us on (delayed) arrival, showed us around, arranged regular cleaning, trips, gave advice and provided a fridge full of delicious fruit. They really couldn't have done more to make our stay better and I would not hesitate to recommend this property. Thank you Argiris, we plan to book again!

A beautiful town, with a lot of restaurants and an ancient monastery, which is located very close to the city and is worth visiting. The beach is clean, very large and long, there was enough space for everyone.

Small village beach with 7-8 taverns directly on the beach.

Small village beach with 7-8 taverns directly on the beach. Frequent bus connection to Chania and the touristic villages on the way. The village itself doesn't offer much. It's perfect starting point to visit Balos and Gramvoussa (from Kissamos), Falassarna, Elafonisi.

A nice, small city with plenty enough restaurants, bistros and bars, also nearby the beach with nice view. It's rather local experience due to the size of the city. There are regular groceries available, the city beach is all right for a city beach. It's very close to Kissamos (around 10 minutes drive) and if you want to visit Chania, it's only around half an hour drive. It's placed close to the main road on the north of the island, which is important since other roads, non main, are not so fast to drive on Crete. Prices are a little better than in Chania or Rethymno, but it depends on a particular place, overall overpriced restaurants are never worth it there, go for small, local businesses. If your goal is to explore the western side of the island, I'd recommend Kolymvari, Kissamos or around that area. Do not stay in Chania, really...

Typical Greek seaside town with adequate facilities, plenty of tavernas and some good shops. A bit scruffy and run down in places with some derelict buildings, badly maintained public walkways and litter. Some smart hotels but otherwise feels a bit run down. Great location for those wanting to visit tourist destinations across west Crete.

Its rather small and quiet village, with few cafes and restaurants near by. The beach is ok, especially for families. If you walk parallel to the coastline you will find a beautiful ancient monastery.

You should not believe the good reviews this place had.

You should not believe the good reviews this place had. The place is isolated and hard to find. Unpleasant location with building going on around it and many stray dogs. It doesn’t have any hotel facilities but cannot be regarded as a self catering apartment as no facilities to prepare or eat food. It is miserable and we left after one night . We were alone in the place all night The only interesting place in the vicinity was a monastery about 25 min walk away

Spacious apartment. Good kitchen facilities. Numerous swimming pools and playgrounds. Good for a family with children. Beautiful vegetation around the hotel. Hotel and customers are feeding 2 homeless cats which is great. It changes everything in the world of these animals. Very nice and helpful lady at the reception with ginger hair. A small shop near the hotel and a pharmacy, very convenient. Hotel in the countryside, quiet at night. Good value for money.

Excellent location , within walking distance of kolymvari village and beach.Supermarket across the road , bus stop outside apartment . Spotlessly clean , room cleaning ,fresh towels ,bed sheets. Beautiful pool ,snack bar on site ,so relaxing .Very friendly owner and family . Forty minutes from Chania airport. We will return for sure.

Nice hotel with a great host! A very delicious breakfast, as well as a fantastic dinner at the host's restaurant. The air conditioner is included in the price, which was a saving grace for a good night's sleep on hot nights! Near the sea, shops. We really liked it!

Very hidden on top of a hill surprises this hotel with an extraordinary patio and quietness. Mary (the owner) is very welcoming and warm hearted. Everything is super clean and the room authentic greek.
