Amazing service They offered to dry our clothes!! There’s a washing machine and they gave us powder!! Didn’t charge for any of that. Very kind people especially Elaine was very kind and helpful The hotel itself was very good also- good amenities Breakfast was good, made hot drinks with alternative drinks. This place is definitely at least 4 star and will soon become that, if not 5 star. Really affordable at the moment.

Aphrodite beach hotel has a special position hidden bay, so in case of windy weather it is quiet. This is ideal when the wind is too strong or with small childeren. The wawes are smal and no wind. But, if you like wavy sea, you can go 300 meter further on the beach to Kissamos center direction, you get to a beach with bigger wawes. aphrodite has an interesting position of the swimming pool. No strong sun, no strong wind. Ideal for evenings when tired by see. Also great for childeren. Theere is a restaurant in front of hotel which is quiet, but zou see some touch with the atmosphere if zou have a see view room. The Kisamos area is interesting part of Crete. The port to Balos is abou 3km from Aphrodite. Falassarna is10 minutes by car. Elafonisi about 1 hour by car distance. The hotel personnels were very pleasent and kind. The hotel was perfectly clean.

For those who want a quiet get-away and yet close shopping, Kissamos is hard to beat. Close to the port for Balos-Gramvousa excursions and secluded for a wonderful relaxed time with your loved one. Gramvousa Restaurant is a must, a short drive to a memorable dining experience. Loved snorkeling and fish sightings around rocky areas. Pictures cannot capture the panoramic breath-taking setting.

Not really a resort, but a working town, has a small, pretty square with a few bars and tavernas. A few good tavernas and bars down on the seafront. A lot more could be made of the beach with a little effort.

Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

There is an instagram picture worthy and tasteful Gramboussa Restaurant in the village Kaliviani with amazing service. The village is authentic, with historic buildings and a special aura. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to stop in Kissamos.

Kissamos itself as a town is nothing special but it has some seafront tavernas and its location makes it a good base to explore the local area - in particular to take a boat trip around to Balos bay and lagoon which is highly recommended, including a stop at Gramvousa island to walk up to the castle. It's also a short drive over the hill to Falasarna bay for a closer nice beach option with sunbeds. Kissamos beach is rather scraggy looking compared to other more scenic options locally!

I actually stayed in their sister hotel Revekka Rooms. Initially when I told Kostas the purpose of my stay was to visit a family in Kastéli I've known since the early 80's, their response was "You are not a tourist but a friend of Crete" which I thought was really nice... and, I was upgraded to a bigger room for free. However, the star of the establishment is Chríssa on Reception. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you Chríssa for all your help, support and friendship.

We had an excellent room with everything we needed, including a small kitchen and a jacuzzi on the balcony. Manolis and his brother are immensely kind and always ready to help and make everyone happy. Everything was very clean and the location is ideal to explore the most beautiful beaches around Kissamos (we rented a car and it was very easy to park next to the hotel for free).

My boyfriend and I were visiting Crete for the first time at this beach hotel Elena and had a wonderful experience .The hotel was very clean, comfortable bed, very helpful and attentive staff, it's a very quiet relaxing hotel with a beautiful beach front and very tasty breakfast, highly recommend,we would come back here again, thank you very much for everything 😁❤️

Kissamos is a great base to explore west Crete by car and a very pretty town as well. The apartment was very comfortable and very well equipped. The kitchen was good, bedrooms were comfortable and the terrace was great. Our hosts were very nice. The location in the town center is ideal, parking nearby is easy
