The location is in a beautifull mountain village and the house is perfect. You do need a car to comfortabel go around and the host helped us so we had a car upon arrival. The house is sweet and warm welcoming. Possible to sit outsite on a kind of roof terras. In the evening people are all outsite talking to eachother and you can join in for a drink or food. Its not full of tourist but very greek . Beautifull and the house made the stay at Naxos a memory that ll last forever

Clean and spacious facilities. Safe for our toddler baby who is 2yo…. Nice large shallow area of pool. Play area at restaurant for our baby. Pool and rooms are well away from road. Spacious rooms. What a fabulous hotel. from the first friendly greeting to the last farewell, Nicoletta & her staff ensured that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is tastefully decorated in white & grey and is kept spotlessly clean. Our bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent. beach towels are provided. We used the laundry service at the end of our week; good value & efficient. The pièce de resistance has to be the homemade feast that is the breakfast. Combine that with stunning sea views on a very friendly island and we had a perfect week in Hotel Grotta.

The self service buffet breakfast was brilliant! The owners provide such a varied breakfast each morning -- with daily changes in what's available to eat. They had thought of everything! It was delicious. The room was so clean! The pool was an added bonus and the little garden too. The staff are very helpful & pleasant. The location - just a tiny way out of Naxos town brings with it ...peace & quiet. As the hotel is in a residential area, it felt very safe too. You can walk into Naxos town in 10 mins. We loved it there ! We will revisit!

Phenomenal hotel. Location was great, far enough from the tourist areas to be quiet but close enough to walk anywhere you want in town. The Agios Georgios beach is only a few minutes walk and has a ton of amenities. Parking is right across the street from the hotel and very convenient for getting to the roads to elsewhere on the island. Definitely get as small of a car as possible though with the narrow streets. Irene was so friendly and helpful, we arrived and left the island at weird times but she was so flexible with check in and check out - so incredibly generous of her. The top floor room was quiet, cool, clean, and had everything we needed. We'll never stay anywhere else on Naxos as long as Irene has an open room.
