Lots of space across the floors, exceptionally clean. Pool was amazing, the perfect way to start and end the day as we were out and about a lot. Best thing was the welcome and attention to detail and care from Koralia and her family throughout our stay - from the gifts of a watermelon on arrival, to suggestions and recommendations for day trips, restaurants and beaches. We felt like family ourselves.

Our stay at this villa was beyond perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the spotless cleanliness and the attention to detail throughout the property. The highlight was undoubtedly the inviting pool, where we spent countless blissful hours soaking up the sun. The villa itself was equipped with every amenity imaginable, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and convenient. We particularly loved the spacious garden, offering breathtaking views of the sea that left us in awe every single day. Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, providing a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Convenience was also a major plus, with the proximity to two famous beaches, Stavros and Kalathas, offering endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Additionally, the villa's close proximity to the airport was incredibly convenient, making our travels seamless and stress-free. Overall, our experience at this villa was nothing short of magical. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a slice of paradise in Chania. A heartfelt thank you to the hosts for providing such an exceptional retreat!

Nicely and tastefully decorated.Well-equipped kitchen with a lovely terrace. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the owners (Gianis and Nikos). The welcome pack containing local products it was really great!!They were very helpful in answering all of my questions and providing recommendations of beaches, local attractions and dinning. They helped us book travel needed to/from the airport. The location was perfect, a quiet spot, centrally located near the airport, beaches, attractions (such Katholiko Monastery and kalathas beach), water sport-rent services stand up paddle, kayak etc.at the kalathas beach was really fun for the kids. Short drive away from the city of chania!(15 minutes). The home was large and fit our needs perfectly, including spacious outside trances that were great place to enjoy our morning breakfast.The kichen has all the equipment required should you wish to prepare home cooked food, a Sunday roast for all the family was no problem.Washer/dryer and clothes airer for dealing with dirty clothes.All the bedrooms have air condition with low noise figure. I highly recommend staying here whether you are looking for a quite retreat or a perfect location to rest in between a packed agenda!

The frontline staff, Maria, Faaia and Nicholas were always available to help with any queries, organising taxis and were kind and helpful. The hotel provided a free shuttle bus to town, which made the location perfect. Views from the hotel looking down on the town and the port were breathtaking. We often took the walk down to the town and the shuttle uphill to the hotel. It was a good mix. We were warmly greeted each day by the cleaning staff, who were efficient and thorough. There is a laundry for washing and drying clothing, and we especially enjoyed the use of the leisure room where we could read and enjoy a game of cards. The offering for breakfast was varied and delicious. The dining room is perfectly situated to take in the incredible views. On our last evening, we booked for dinner in the dining room just before sundown. We had a scrumptious meal, a great bottle of wine and bade farewell to Chania. We highly recommend Royal Sun hotel, we believe it will not disappoint.

We loved this location.

We loved this location. If we went to the right, we were into the country where there were several little villages and beaches including Stavros beach (famous for the filming of Zorba the Greek) but also had some ruins on site. Nice beach for swimming and sunning. If you go to the left, you head back towards Chania and the other amazing beach and the charming Chania Old Town. We loved it there, as well. Lots of beautiful gifts to buy, clothes, shoes, restaurants, etc. All paved roads.

We stayed at the Aloni Suites which was a beautiful place with amazing views towards the North West coast of Crete About 4 places to eat in Chorafakia of which we ate in 2 and both were very goods especially Irene Taverna & restaurant The beach at Tersernas Beach is lovely and the water very clear with a lovely sandy beach

The area is beautiful and peaceful.

The area is beautiful and peaceful. There are several great beaches and some excellent tavernas as well as some good supermarkets. I would be very happy to return to the area. It is necessary to have a car there.

Very close to the capital, Chania (a visit is highly recommended), and also to the beaches of Stavros (the best restaurant is "Almyriki," among others) and Tersania (a good taverna is Thanasis). It's easy to get around by car. The people are friendly, and if you try to speak Greek, they'll go out of their way to help you.

Beautiful resort in an elevated location with wonderful...

Beautiful resort in an elevated location with wonderful views of the sea and the Lefka Ori mountains. Lovely beaches and numerous tavernas are in the immediate vicinity. The rooms, while a bit dated, are spotlessly clean and well-designed. Large and deep pool! The occasional aircraft noise during the day was barely noticeable. Highly recommended.
