The rooms were exceptional, very spacious. We stayed here to play golf and it was a good course. We enjoyed the restaurant, pool and gym. You do need a car to get to see other things aside from golf.

The hotel appartment is very nice and clean! We had an appartment with a double bed and a single bed and a big terrace with 2 sunbeds. The beds and pillows are very comfi. We slept really good. The balcony had double doors with noise protection, so we did not hear the music outside, during the night (because the hotel faces a nice club, with swimming pool and disco). Mr Lambros, the owner is very nice and client oriented. He helped us with the airport transfer.

It was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and space for everyone. The view was very nice to the city and sea. Very nice pool area for chilling and relaxing at night aswell. And the villige itself is very nice to have walks both day and night. Best bakery across the street and we got a very good deal from Orion car rent - it further away from the villa in the villige. For us we got the best feel of Hersonissos life and amazing villige feel from there.

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.

As it’s built into the mountains, reasonable mobility is desirable, however it is disable friendly and the taxis are cheap, On site there are lots of steps and inclines to the facilities, as well as lifts, but I’m sure a persons needs could be accommodated to all the pools and restaurants. I’m 71 and managed to walk into town/star beach ok, enjoyed the exercise tbh! Overall the hotel is brilliant for families with children of all ages. I would go back for sure! The town is superb, so much choice for eating/drinking out, shopping good, usual touristy stuff! People are friendly and very helpful.

Very nice Old Hersonissos. Many good restaurants and bars. Who likes more "turistic" area the new part of Hersonissos on the coast with lots of bars, restaurants, clubs and shopping street is very close.

The town has a lot to offer great food, bars, clubs.

The town has a lot to offer great food, bars, clubs. At night the town comes alive with lots to do and see. The cost of taxi rides are all the same and we stayed just outside at the Arminda hotel and spa (which was amazingly good). It's a great location to explore the island as the main road is a couple of miles away and this connects the island East to West. It was such a lovely place that I will probably go back sometime in the future.

Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.

Hersonissos is lively to many restaurants and bars. Having a car is an advantage as the best beaches and many restaurants recommended to us were not within walking distance. Best nearby restaurants were Areston and Avli. Skipper is reaonable on the restaurant strip. A bus service is available but we did not use it. Lots to do in Heraklion which can be reached by bus or car. We went to Agios Nikolaos and to Elounda. Good walks in both directions from the flat

- Very high standard accomodation, luxurious modern new building - you could literally stay in your room and they will handle everything for you - Jacuzzi room is something that makes you want to stay in the hotel and just enjoy the private garden with jacuzzi - breakfast to the room - food delivery to the room from a modern greek restaurant - welcome drink and awesome bar (top notch drinks/food) - directly in front of the hotel entrance is one of the best traditional tavernas on Crete - beautiful swimming pool

The perfect destination for a family reunion and wedding in Crete. The little village and surrounds were traditional Greek and local family-run restaurants such as Nicho's Seafood were outstanding. Eleni was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities at Villa Iokasti were so much more than we expected. The Iokasti restaurant also had exceptionally good food. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

Just occasionally changed pre-booked hotel for Royal & Imperial Belvedere Resort and I'm so happy we did so, it was amazing vacation we spend with the friends. Personal was very friendly, great food and drinks and, of course, Crete itself!

The hotel is gorgeous - I saw it on Tiktok and was nervous as hotels can get overhyped on there but Akasha exceeded my expectations. The staff are lovely and it's in a great locations. Very much worth every penny. I want to go back to Crete just to stay there again.
