My experience at Dorian was out of this world. Being there for the first time, I didn't know what to expect, but it far exceeded my expectations. The rooms are very large, comfortable, and always clean. They change everything on a daily basis, the cleaning lady was the enemy of dirt, literally. The hotel owner, Lambros, really knows how to look after his customers. He called me a day before arriving to arrange a car for me. Upon arrival, he waited with cold drinks and snacks, and the fridge in the room was full of complimentary drinks. And the view! The view was out of this world: two swimming pools right in front, palms all over, and the sea just 30 seconds away. With over 200 restaurants all around and all kinds of other offerings, the food was absolutely delicious, and everyone was friendly. No wonder the Greeks are famous for their hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will be back!

The people working at Momi Slow Living are a true joy to be around. This team is made up of the most heartwarming, kind individuals who do their best to make sure you’re enjoying your stay. They really let you unwind and live slow while enjoying good food and being able to relax. When it comes to the food, I feel like there was definitely something for every type of eater. Very cool hotel and truly a different experience compared to any other hotel I’ve stayed in. The staff were very nice and friendly and they made us feel as being part of a community not just guests. The rooms were spacious and clean and we really enjoyed the pool view from our balcony, the poolside DJ and the evening entertainment (live band, violin and saxophone players). Overall, I think they have a cool hotel concept and we’re planning on visiting again in the future.

Vasia Boulevard was an exceptional choice to revisit this part of Crete after 15 years. We were received in the most beautiful way possible with a glass of prosecco and with very good news from the hotel manager that he upgraded our room. We received a room with a sea view at the 4th floor with a stunning view. Seeing the sunrise and sunset from the room's terrace was amazing. The room was very well sized for the needs of 2 people, immaculately clean. Our stay at Vasia Boulevard started with a bottle of prosecco and a fruit platter and ended with chocolate candies and a lovely message from the housekeeper. Much appreciated gestures that made us feel welcome. Breakfast was exactly what was needed to start the day and dinner was a la carte with a good choice of plates. Hersonissos is a vibrant city with many young tourists and the location of the hotel gives you the opportunity to feel this. Many thanks to the hotel manager and the staff who helped us spend a beautiful vacation in Crete. We will definitely come back.

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.

As it’s built into the mountains, reasonable mobility is desirable, however it is disable friendly and the taxis are cheap, On site there are lots of steps and inclines to the facilities, as well as lifts, but I’m sure a persons needs could be accommodated to all the pools and restaurants. I’m 71 and managed to walk into town/star beach ok, enjoyed the exercise tbh! Overall the hotel is brilliant for families with children of all ages. I would go back for sure! The town is superb, so much choice for eating/drinking out, shopping good, usual touristy stuff! People are friendly and very helpful.

Very nice Old Hersonissos. Many good restaurants and bars. Who likes more "turistic" area the new part of Hersonissos on the coast with lots of bars, restaurants, clubs and shopping street is very close.

The town has a lot to offer great food, bars, clubs.

The town has a lot to offer great food, bars, clubs. At night the town comes alive with lots to do and see. The cost of taxi rides are all the same and we stayed just outside at the Arminda hotel and spa (which was amazingly good). It's a great location to explore the island as the main road is a couple of miles away and this connects the island East to West. It was such a lovely place that I will probably go back sometime in the future.

Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.

Hersonissos is lively to many restaurants and bars. Having a car is an advantage as the best beaches and many restaurants recommended to us were not within walking distance. Best nearby restaurants were Areston and Avli. Skipper is reaonable on the restaurant strip. A bus service is available but we did not use it. Lots to do in Heraklion which can be reached by bus or car. We went to Agios Nikolaos and to Elounda. Good walks in both directions from the flat

I just stayed in Onira Suite Dreams for the past 3 nights. We had the most amazing time, the property is very modern with lots of incredible amenities. Our villa was a dream come true with the perfect size private pool. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating to all our needs. If you want to have a memorable holiday when you come to Crete I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for everything 😊
