Dear Manolis and the family, thank you for your pure Cretan hospitality! Very quiet and clean place, nice and helpful hosts, excellent service, generous breakfast made with love. The room and balcony were not quite spacious (greek size), but cozy and comfy. The beach, tavernas, shops, and free parkings, everything was nearby. Highly recommend!

Excellent choice for budget hotel! Friendly, helpful professional staff. Basic clean room with sea view (36), a/c, mini-fridge, TV and hairdryer. Good, simple breakfast. Lovely hotel with fantastic host family Popi Pantelaki and her husband Alexandros. Great location 300m to the beach and the small village with tavernas. The hotel provides perfekt buffe dishes and other dishes for you A lovely coffebar in lounge area were you can eat most wounderful homemade icecream made by Popi herself. Afternoon coffee/ tea with homemade cake for most modest price. Good size pool and pool area. The rooms are good sice and very clean.

The facilities were amazing, clean, comfortable and modern. It’s 50 meters from the beach which is amazing. They also had an outside shower where you can wash off quickly before entering the house which is a really smart addition to the house. Everything was just perfect with the house and the owner was an amazing person, didn’t meet him personally but was always polite and very kind.

Myrtos is a charming and authentic village on the southern coast of Crete. The apartment is exceptional—spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped for a longer stay. It offers free Wi-Fi, and every room has its own air-conditioning unit, which makes the stay very pleasant even on hot days. The location is outstanding, just about fifty meters from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and bakeries within walking distance. The hosts are especially kind and always ready to help with anything that comes up. At the end of our stay, we received lovely gifts as a souvenir of Myrtos and our time at Fota’s Home.
