We had an amazing time at your hotel! The rooms were spotless and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - everything was just a short walk away. The sea view from our room was stunning. The room was big and light. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious and there was a great variety. Thanks to the staff for being so welcoming and attentive! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday on the island

Had a lovely 6 night break as a solo traveller at Avena Suites. Rooms were very comfortable clean and modern and hosts were genuine helpful and friendly people. Overall great value for money and I highly recommend. Will definitely return !

It's a spacious apartment with amazing view, close to restaurants, bus stop and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. The location is close to many attraction sites for us as a family like the aquarium and watercity. The air conditioners cool the bedrooms perfectly and overall the apartment has almost all the facilities. The hosts are really nice and friendly. They accepted early check-in with a short notice. They offered us fresh sweet figs from their garden in addition to welcome drinks and water bottle in the fridge. We enjoyed watching the stars and the clear sky at night from the roof . Highly recommended 👌

Lovely hotel, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Location within 5 minutes of the beach and shops. Pool was clean and modern, never had a problem getting a sunbed in early August. I'd definitely go back.

Very nice holiday town, with options to spend the evening, by no loud clubbing. Nice evening life. The town lise along the seashore, so it makes for amazing long walks at sunset or sunrise. Locals are super friendly, prices are fair, many people but not over-crowded. Very nice family taverns, great food. Many runners, so it`s a welcoming spot for early risers. I was traveling alone and felt super safe the entire time. Great options to book trips to other parts of the island, I was super happy with the offers and availability.

Small place with shops and restaurants, easy access to beach...

Small place with shops and restaurants, easy access to beach. There is a bus which takes you to Heraklion in 30 minutes. By taxi it is maybe 20 minutes pretty convenient from the airport. Walking around is easy and you can get to the Aquarium which is fun for kids.

A lovely small resort with just a nice amount of shops,...

A lovely small resort with just a nice amount of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. it is a great central location for the airport and if you want to venture out further around the island, it is close to the main E75 and E90 routes. You are directly under the airport landing route but it wasn't a major factor or didn't detract from our great experience.
