When we arrived at the hotel, the hosts, Elena and Niko, greeted us with warm welcomes and cold drinks to quench our thirsts. The WiFi there was very fast and allowed us to surf the internet with great speeds. The sights, smells and vibes were very gracious and fantastic. They accommodated my family of 5 by setting up some extra beds for my children. Everything was so clean and nice, and just felt refreshing overall. Definitely a hotel I would recommend.

Our hosts were amazing — so kind and helpful. We had booked for 3 people but later came as 4; they quickly arranged an extra bed without charging anything. When we struggled to find the address, they came by car to pick us up and helped with our luggage. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated like a Pinterest home, and the balcony with mountain and sea views was wonderful. They let us check in early, check out late, and even welcomed us with wine and coffee — such thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The location in Potia, just a 10-minute uphill walk from the ferry, was perfect for exploring Kalymnos. Even though there weren’t many reviews yet, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended and many thanks to our hosts!

Completely renovated traditional house just like the pictures. The house has everything you could need and everything is brand new. There is a second single bed that you will not see in the pictures of the description because you can set this bed in the living room only if you need it (we use it and was comfortable).

The hosts were very accommodating and assisted with getting transport, cooked some food for us, and dropped us off at the port. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and had all what we needed to self cater. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful apartment. It has been refurbished with lots of thought in a contemporary style but with lots of original features. We loved it. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. The apartment is perfectly situated, only 1 minute walk to a good supermarket and only a few minutes walk to the waterfront. Artemissia was a very helpful host and always available to help.

Lovely chilled and laid back island. Great activities, we were there for a family holiday but the amazing climbing was pretty central and the diving (Kalymnos Diving Club) was great too. Kalymos main town is very big busy if you like it busy it’s ideal. There’s lots of burners and bars. It’s easy to catch fairies from the port and I recommend hiring a car to go around the island. We like the north tip of the island best.

Kalymnos is a true authentic Greek Island experience without overcrowding from foreign tourists. We stayed at the Port where there are lots of options for authentic Greek cuisine and rented a car so we could explore the island and beaches. The Port is a true working port. Not just a tourist port. We are tired of overcrowded tourist spots. We felt like we were living as a local and the Yatrissa apartment was very spacious and convenient. Especially compared to all our other accommodations. Our host Anna was excellent and very helpful. She had some treats for us on arrival which was very much appreciated. The apartment had all the amenities we required.

We loved our 10-day stay on Kalymnos.

We loved our 10-day stay on Kalymnos. It offers a true Greek spirit without being overly touristy. Highlights include: Charming small streets and beautiful architecture in the main town. Interesting and scenic beaches. Fantastic food and great espresso everywhere. A wonderful, rustic atmosphere. One important heads-up: be prepared for very loud dynamite explosions during local wedding celebrations. The noise is frightening and unexpected, but it is a local tradition. It was the only downside to an otherwise perfect trip. Highly recommended for travelers seeking an authentic experience.

Kalymnos feels like a truly authentic Greek island: beautiful coastline, varied landscape, interesting architecture, and a vibrant local economy,. It is not touristy. The hotel is in Pothia, the capital of the island, and you see local people swimming at the beach near the hotel and you see them out and about every evening enjoying themselves at the cafes, taverns, and restaurants on the Harborfront promenade. There are many good food choices and the prices are reasonable. I tried the tsipouradika/ouzeri places, for meze served when you order a beer. Kalymnos has apparently the largest fishing fleet in Greece and I enjoyed fresh seafood for dinner at a couple different seafood restaurants. Htapadokeftedes (octopus fritters) is a tasty dish, only made in Kalymnos, and I enjoyed having it very much. Eptazymo is a unique Kalymnos bread specialty and I had it at breakfast every day. Rock climbers have discovered Kalymnos a few years ago , and I felt that Kalymnos has a lot to offer to all visitors. This island has a distinct, strong, proud personality and its people are helpful and nice to everyone.

The host we met was extremely friendly and nice, we got so many cool tips for her and it was a wonderful welcome to Kalymnos. The location of the place is good, just a few meters from the beach but quiet during the night. Room service and regular cleaning was nice, although not necessary for our 4-night stay. We also liked that the breakfast was served in a beach cafe nearby - it is a very cool concept idea and it was always nice to walk on the beach in the morning.

Maria, the host is amazing! She is one of the best I have dealt with. The property was clean, and Maria ensured we had enough water, fruit and bread to last our trip. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Location was great. Top of the street, so you got to walk the main part of Massouri. Parking was easy, as there was always a spot available right in front of the property. I will definitely be staying here again.

We met Lia in her mother's shop below the apartment at 11am we were obviously early but was able to leave our luggage there and told us to come back at 1pm as the room would be available. We could see from the pictures it was a lovely apartment but it is so much nicer in reality, a beautiful apartment, very clean and so well kept and with such a beautiful view of Kalymnos we will definitely be back thank you Lia
