We really liked the accommodation. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The sea view was amazing.The host was very nice and helpful. We stayed only one night before our flight. The drive to the airport took about 30 minutes. The Wi-Fi was strong and the water pressure in the shower was super strong. We were really happy with our stay and we will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house – everything was super convenient and well thought out. The home has two floors and two comfortable bedrooms, with a cozy living room combined with a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed: utensils, plates, bags, sponges, dishwashing and floor cleaning supplies. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather – it was always cool and pleasant inside. We especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace, perfect for relaxing or having meals. The bathroom was also very well equipped, with a washing machine, detergent, towels, and toilet paper provided. The house is surrounded by a lovely yard with olive trees and is just a 15-minute walk from the sea. We were incredibly satisfied with our stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the hosts were always available and helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. We highly recommend this place to everyone! We stayed as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). Thank you so much!

I am a returning customer and the hotel is amazing! Maria and Nikos treat every guest with warmth and respect and address everyone by name! They are always ready to offer advice… or step aside and let you be, whatever are the guests’ preferences… I cannot fault the place! A lovely sandy beach is just 2 min walk. A well stocked supermarket is within 1 min walk. I will be back!

Our recent stay was made extra special thanks to the incredible care and presence of the hotel management team – particularly Modesta and Jelena. From the moment we arrived, their approach stood out as genuinely guest-focused and refreshingly hands-on. Modesta kindly invited us to a management-hosted drinks and snacks event, where she spent over 30 minutes listening attentively to our suggestions for future improvements. We mentioned ideas such as offering hairdresser services for guests staying longer than a week, arranging sessions with a professional photographer to capture the stunning scenery, and introducing adult dance classes featuring local Greek styles. We also suggested expanding the beverage options to include a variety of barista-made coffees for non-alcohol drinkers—currently, if you don't drink alcohol, you’re mostly left with water or sugary sodas, which many now avoid. That level of openness and attention is rare and deeply appreciated. Jelena and Modesta also organised a beautiful à la carte dinner for us, another example of how involved and committed the management team is. This is the only hotel we’ve experienced where the management isn’t distant from guests—they are consistently visible, engaging, and genuinely interested in how everything is going. You truly feel heard and valued here. It’s a completely different and much more personal style of hospitality management. A heartfelt thank you to Spiros, Nicolas, Modesta, Michelle and the rest of the team —you’re doing a fantastic job.

Our room at Kalyves Bay was comfortable and well equipped. Local shops, bars and restaurants are only a very short walk away (0-5 minutes). Stelios and his family were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean family run hotel.

Very nice and clean family run hotel. Excellent little café in front (hotel guests get a 15% discount). We had our dog with us, and we greatly appreciated a pet-friendly apartment that was very well maintained. The atmosphere is simple, comfortable, and pleasant. Excellent for meeting our expectations.

We really enjoyed the kids' club activities.

We really enjoyed the kids' club activities. The evening entertainment was also very good. Additionally, I felt that the food choices, especially for lunch and dinner, were excellent and catered to different tastes. I was disappointed to find that the air conditioning did not work in several rooms, and the staff were fully aware of this issue. We had to change our room but ultimately had to settle for a normal fan. This hotel is rated as a 5-star hotel, but I feel it does not meet that standard. Additionally, the restaurant area was problematic. The fridge with ice cream was very dirty, as were the pots with granola. Despite having issues with the air conditioning and cleanliness in the restaurant area, we enjoyed our stay at Kiani Beach Resort. The pools are excellent, and the proximity to the beach is amazing. However, I believe this hotel should be awarded only a 3 to 4-star rating.

We stayed here for 10 days with one other family . It was amazing !! We are had our own rooms with own bathrooms . We had clean and safe space . The host was great and got back to us with any questions we had . All appliances worked great . Restaurants near by were great to walk to .

Perfect Cretan working village by the sea.Great beaches.Plenty good tevernas,kanefeons and bars with very reasonable prices.Supermarket,mini markets and shops Local butchers,bakers,fruit and veg shops with fresh local produce.Good base fortrips to other places including archeological and historical sites.Car hire and ATMs in abundance.It's about 30 - 40 minutes depending on your mode of transport from Chania airport and about 25 minutes from Souda ferry terminal.Highly recommended.

It was very spacious, beds were comfortable, lots of balconies and places to sit. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of supplies to keep it clean. The views are absolutely stunning. You can see the snow capped mountains, the sea to both sides, and glorious sunsets. The house is close to the beach, 5 or so minutes to get down to the sea front to Kalyves beach. Nadia was so helpful and kind to us. We had a wonderful, peaceful time.

The apartment is located in a lovely, quiet village in Chania, just a short walk from the beach. There are several great restaurants and a supermarket within minutes, making it very convenient. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with towels replaced and cleaning done every two days. The shared pool was a nice bonus, and Maria, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Chania.

The variety of choice for all three meals each day was fantastic - choice of two indoor and two outdoor pools / gym - beach so close by - easy bus ride into Chania - all the staff were so helpful / polite and cheerful - dimitrius barman is a legend (tell him Brighton says hello!) - we’d love to come back again and Crete was amazing

Good easy location when you rent a car, great to do some trips to Lake Kournas or the Natural park Lovely for small kids, with a sweet animator team and activities every day The beach is wonderful and right at the hotel Food is fresh and good (although on the last day I did get a stomach virus from it) Lovely staff
