We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel. The location was perfect at the beach. The room was spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us book taxis and local tours. Breakfast was fresh and diverse, with something for every taste. Good Wi-Fi signal Overall, we loved our experience and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic getaway.

We loved the location and the property!!! The stunning views of the sea from our balcony, as well as, the well kept gardens, the pool and its amenities. The breakfast buffet was extensive with delicious offerings for everyone’s tastes and dietary needs. The room was large and well appointed with very comfortable modern furnishings; the bathroom had both a separate shower and bathtub. The rooms and the whole property were extremely clean!!!! All the staff were cheerful and went out of their way to help us with our questions any of our needs!!!

The city's farmers' market was wonderful (Wednesdays and Saturdays). It has a lot of great restaurants along the beach and the harbor. Walking around Old Town is a great place to spend a morning.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city. It has a decent population, nice long beach friendly for pedestrians and cyclists. There are also other beaches and seanic spots within an hour of Kalamata. There are ancient historic cites nearby, such as the nearby ancient city of Messene. The city blends a traditional feel in its Old Town, which climbs a castle hill, with modern infrastructure, and hosts cultural events like the annual Dance Festival. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, from exploring ruins and museums to water sports, hiking, and enjoying the local gastronomy.

Kalamata is a good base for a relaxing holiday, especially the Pharae hotel regular buses to the town, flat walk along the beach, buses at end of season get less, hiring a car several nearby areas well worth exploring or even a one night stay, depending on your interests

Kalamata is a beautiful city with great shopping and a nice variety of restaurants with tasty local dishes, especially their famous pig roast, "gourounopoula". Lovely cafes and beaches as well. Also a good location to take day trips from and visit other beautiful towns.

Beautiful city center, great places to eat, drink and have fun! The cost at Navarinou str is very nice and close to the city center! There's a wonderful view and sunset at Verga, a beautiful bar called Kastraki, you should definitely visit! Many places to visit and have a daily trip like Pylos, Methoni, Foinikounta, Koroni, Kyparissia to name a few.

We stayed in Kalamata only for two nights (Sunday and Monday) so there was not a lot of action, but there were plenty of restaurants, bars, and people enjoying the nice weather. Everyone was very friendly and the town was clean and felt safe to walk around at night. We really liked it. Unfortunately we did not visit any cultural or historic places. We spent the day at Agios Beach (30 minutes away), which is a sandy long beach, with plenty of activities for kids and nice umbrellas and lounge chairs to rest, and a nice simple restaurant by the water.

First of all, It's new. Very new. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious, and the kitchenette has everything we needed for our 5-day stay. I can see that the hosts of the complex thought about every little detail to make guests stay as pleasant as possible. It's a serviced apartment, but it was cleaned every day, like in a hotel. Very well located, in the heart of Kalamata, next to the main stroll. Balcony overlooking the square. Parking on site was very convenient.

A beautiful hotel in the center of Kalamata. A few steps from the central square of the city. Quiet, clean and the staff willing to help us with all our questions. We felt like we were being hosted by friends. The breakfast buffet was filling and we were given the opportunity to try all the local delicacies.

Location was amazing, room was very quiet despite being in the middle of a square, and the staff were very helpful. Very comfortable mattress, our best night's sleep while travelling in Greece. Free parking nearby and around a 10 min drive to Kalamata beach.
