The room definitely exceeded our expectations. It was the first room we rented in Kamares at a reasonable price that we actually liked and that we could see ourselves renting for a longer time in the future if we decide to stay in Kamares longer. The location is far from the noise of the street, the balcony was spacious and we had a view of the sea (a bit) and of the mountain as well. At night, the silent glow of the stars, combined with the breeze and scent coming from the mountain created a wonderful and poetic atmosphere. The room had a fridge and kitchen utilities (cups, plates, cutlery etc.) and we even had some lovely treats as a gift from the host, which were a nice addition and which we are very grateful for. The room was spacious, neat and clean and the beds large and comfortable. We had plenty of room to move around and keep our luggage. All in all, we are very pleased with our stay here and would like to give our deepest thanks to the host 💓

I cannot recommend Sifnos‘s house highly enough! George and Dora made our family feel so at home, comfortable, so welcome and really enhanced our stay in Sifnos. We stayed in the Galaxea apartment, which was superb. Two well designed bedrooms with excellent Aircon, one en suite, and an extra bathroom, and a lovely sitting area inside as well as a shaded table and sun spot outside. George helped us plan our itinerary, booked us sun loungers and had even organised to treat us to a delicious octopus starter as a surprise when we arrived at the beach! The rooms were serviced every day, beds made towels refreshed if we needed them. There is a delicious breakfast that is included and our apartment had a small but well equipped kitchenette, with stove and fridge, had we wanted to make our own food. We absolutely adored our stay at Sifnos house. When we left, George and Dora even gifted us with a ceramic platter as a parting gift, we were so touched. Do yourself favor and book yourself in. We’re going back!

From the time we arrived to when we left, our host Maria made us feel so much so at home. She was very helpful and let us stay another night when our ferry was cancelled. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping very good a good breakfast too!!

First of all, we are very happy to have met Maria and her sweet nephew. The location of the facility, the garden, and the houses were all better than we expected. Even though we only stayed for three nights, our room was cleaned every day and our coffee was replenished. We were very pleased with our stay here in Sifnos and would recommend it to everyone. Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.

Nice place for dinner, but the beach is very average. Food is expensive. I recommend Angie's restaurant and Fassolou's, which are right next door and very quiet. The cuisine is simple and authentic, although in almost all the restaurants, the seafood is frozen.

Lovely spot.

Lovely spot. Cute little harbor with three tavernas by the water where the food is excellent. Crystal-clear water. A bit too crowded in August, so you need to book in advance at all the tavernas, and the beaches are packed. You're crammed together under the tamarisk trees. Arrive early in the morning for the beach.

Faros is a pretty village on a small harbor, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. However, it also boasts upscale restaurants with an elegant clientele in the evenings. For a beautiful beach with a cozy taverna, head to nearby Fasolú.

Faros is a small village without "frills" which is nice.

Faros is a small village without "frills" which is nice. There are three tavernas/restaurants which all three get very good ratings. A small mini-market which had most of the things. The beach/beaches are definitely acceptable & cozy. If you want to rent a car, there are none in Faros, which might be good to know

It's a seaside village with 3 beaches within walking...

It's a seaside village with 3 beaches within walking distance and a fishing port. There's a paved path to Chrysopigi and a beach in 20 minutes. Apollonia is a 15-minute drive away. There are several restaurants, a mini-market with essentials, and a bakery where the bread is very good (be warned, the prices are Parisian! 😋).
