Our stay at Roula’s place was absolutely perfect! The room was spotless, clean, and spacious, offering all the comfort needed for a pleasant stay. Roula is such a loving and heartwarming person, and her warm welcome made our experience unforgettable. Of all my trips to Greece, I have never received such a kind and sincere welcome. We also had the pleasure of meeting her sister and daughter, which added an even more personal touch to our stay. I leave with wonderful memories of the few days spent there. The name of the accommodation, ‘Like Your Home,’ is spot on, as we truly felt at home. I highly recommend this place for an authentic stay full of beautiful encounters!

Small remote hamlet with a pebbly beach and calm water. St George restaurant on the beach and Philoxenia hotel restaurant a short walk up the hill. Untouristy and very peaceful. Try Apomero restaurant in Giannades - super, well priced food and fantastic views over the Ropa valley. A car is essential for exploring and Ermones is the perfect base to do this.

Ermones is a beautiful and peaceful resort with a small pebbly beach. The location itself is very nice, but the only downside is the lack of competition when it comes to restaurants. There's just one restaurant on the beach, which isn’t great and is extremely overpriced. I don’t mind paying extra for quality food, but when we were served canned dolmades for 10 euros, that was a bit much. Overall, the food quality was nothing special. The same goes for the local shop, where prices were also quite high. We solved this by renting a car and shopping at larger supermarkets, and we preferred to eat at restaurants outside the resort. We highly recommend the 'Forest All Day Eatery Bar', which is about 2 km from Ermones.

Absolutely spectacular scenery and the nicest people at every stop. There isn't much to do but it is the perfect place to lay low and relax. Driving in the area is difficult, but better than the rest of the island.

Ermones is a quiet small beach with sunbeds at one end, and 2 tavernas on the beach. Taverna Maria was our favorite. The beach is pebbly but has lovely clear water, showers, and good snorkelling round the point.

Welcomed by the most lovely man and his mother who told us all the best bits about the area, where to go to get food, local touristy bits and much more. As there was no washing machine the hosts offered to do a wash for us which was very kind. We were delighted to see our room was cleaned every day which was a very nice bonus. Our room had a spectacular view where we could eat dinner and watch the sunset, overall spectacular stay!

Small resort suitable for people who want a quiet holiday in...

Small resort suitable for people who want a quiet holiday in picturesque location. Only regular bus to Corfu town (cheap and easy), so benefits from you having car hire if you want to explore. Limited places to eat, due to a couple of places not surviving Covid, so we spread our custom across four vevues during our stay. Recently opened Salado Pizzeria proved excellent, as did Spyros 97 Taverna (the 30 minute walk to next village for this proved worth it). Enjoyed the 5 minute walk down to Ermones beachfrom our hotel, but hill not great if you have mobility issues. Local eateries very friendly as it's not a big resort they get to recognise you quickly and remember you as individuals. Chilled out holiday we were looking for.

Fresh breeze from the sea. Great sunsets on the balcony. Very spacious, new, everything well made. The kitchen was quipped much above average. Short walk to nice beach which is not overcrowded. 2 restaurants, bar, bike & car rent and supermarket nearby. The owners were very warm and helpful, very nice people. Nice garden with sunbeds and hamaca to enjoy evenings and sunset. No mosquitoes but equipped with nets. Great place for relaxation.

The house is super... a quiet, clean and relaxing place in a wonderfull countryside. The equipment and garden is perfect. The beach and the golf-club are only a few minutes away. The hosts are very friendly and we was able to contact them just in time when it was necessary. We will come back for sure next year. Thank you.

Beautiful place to stay, away for the busy tourist stuff, but still close enough for a short drive to Corfu town, and several nice beaches. Some nice hiking options close by. Staff (Stella) was very friendly and helpful. Nice big swimming pool as well. Room was spacious and had a nice kitchen.

One week in a very friendly Philoxenia Hotel. Great lokalisation. Very polite and very helpful staff. Very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful view over bay, close to the lokal beach. Beautiful sunset.There is pool with greate bar and best Mojito.Very good breakfast and good evening restaurants.
