Benitses is a great place to stay at during vacation.
Benitses is a great place to stay at during vacation. Village is small and everything is located in one small center: Tavernas and restaurants, markets, souvenir shops, cofee shop, bus station... There are no modern buildings to ruin the look of fishing village and people are very kind, everyone I talked to knew English at least well enough to buy/sell stuff or order food. It has small beaches that are clean with clean water. The beach isn't upto much. They wanted €12 for beds in some places, where beaches in the south were so much better and between €7-10 There is a good bus service to Corfu town. We didn't have a bad meal during our trip plenty of places to try.SarahUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Benitses is a small village, but has a lot of taverns, small park and several souvenir shops. Beaches are not the best I have seen. My trip Was a short one, so I haven't had time to go around, but I'm sure great beaches could be find in the island. Corfu is full of olive trees, and vegetation in general is flourishing all over the place. There is a public transportation, but I did not use it, personally I prefer individual transportation, a car. The Town of Corfu is magnificent. A must visit and spend some time there.

Most of the apartments and restaurants lie directly on the main road, so it's a very noisy place. There are some nice places, but many houses are in a very bad state with garbage in the garden and even on the streets. The sea is beatiful, but the overall bad state is shocking.LelleHungary

Mrs. Katerina has a wonderful positive energy and caring personality so she always makes her guests feel welcome. Also, she gave us great tips about public transport and sights. The location of the hotel is right next to the bus station, so it is quite easy to get to the city of Corfu and other places on the island. Nikos was very friendly and welcoming. All in all it has been fantastic experience for a very affordable price! The location was great. Very close to Corfu, quiet with not too many tourists and two lovely beaches that weren’t busy and very clean. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday and not a lot of noise, Benitses is the place to stay.

The room had everything you'd need, amazingly comfortable and in a great location to explore the south and western part of the island but also close enough to the town center and airport without having the traffic and bustling noise. The owners were the most kind and hospitable people you'll ever meet, they even gave us some homemade apple pie. If I'm ever back in Corfu I'll know where to stay.

Some beaches are around the hotel, and the view from the balcony is amazing if you like the sound of waves while having breakfast 🌊 breakfast comes in a basket and is delicious. Rooms are basic but very clean and functional, with stunning views. Staff are super friendly and whilst not fluent in English, I am in their country and communication was never an issue.
