This beautiful apartment is in an ideal location, with everything you need — and more. It might sound a bit funny, but we loved the duvet, especially since previous apartments didn’t have them (in February). The stunning beach is just a 3-minute walk away. The host is incredibly kind and gave great recommendations for local spots to visit. We highly recommend choosing Vila Iremia in Corfu!

Quiet neighbourhood, great view to the sea from the terrace, clean, well designed, all what's needed was in place (equipment in the kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, air-conditioning, towels, tv with streaming apps useful when it was too hot to go out). Very nice owners. Restaurants and beach quite close. The way from the beach back to the apartment was quite sleepy which is a good exercise and guarantees beautiful views.

Everything was great, and we found everything we needed. The kitchen is fully equipped, conditioners working properly and the view from the terrace is nice. Although we haven't seen the owner or other people during the week, but we could feel that they care about us. For example, my friend found a pillow too high, so she was sleeping on a towel. But they understood it while cleaning and we found a smaller pillow when we came back etc. Two mornings there was only cold water running from the shower, but in the evenings it was good, and it's not a big deal for us. Of course, if it would last for all 9 days, it would not be so great 😀 but I definitely would recommend and would stay again in the future 😊

Barbati has a beautiful beach area. Caters for all tastes. Take your own chairs, mats etc. Hire sunbeds. Hire boats. Places to eat and drink. Shingle beach. Lots of space.No easy way . Steep paths down. Batbati village has a few tavernas, 2 bakeries and a couple of supermarkets. There are no pavements through the village and the traffic could be a problem for anyone with small children or elderly or disabled. Bus service to Kassiopi , Dassia and Corfu town.

Pluses:

Pluses: - beatiful beach with crystal clear water and lush greenery around; - stunning nature and landscapes; - amazing infrastructure: you will get your water, coffee, cocktails and food in the amounts you need, there are toilets and even a beach shower (which is rare for Corfu). You will even get daily fresh fruit delivery (we wanted this and were lucky to be offered this by a street seller); - not super crowded, but reservation for sunbeds might be necessary. Minuses: - Umbrellas offered for renting are not adjustable and might not provide you with the shade you need during the day; - It's very hard to firmly fix your own umbrella in the pebble beach. The wind at some point just blows it away and you are left without shade for the rest of the day; - motor boats, water motorbikes are all around in that place which poorly affects the ecology and decreases air quality (which is important since this is your escape from dirty cities and you are looking to recreate); - car traffic is crazy and you will have to be very careful moving around the village, as there is no pedestrian areas - you just move together with the cars and buses on the same road.

Barbati is very small. Everything is walking distance.

Barbati is very small. Everything is walking distance. It is ideal for a beach holiday and just swimming, sunbathing, eating and drinking. There are several smart bar-restaurants on the beach with a choice of meals at around €15-20. Barbati is on the bus route to other destinations so if you want a busier feel you can hop on the bus to Ipsos where you'll find more restaurants, ATMs, a doctor, pharmacies, grocery stores and travel shops for booking day trips. You can go north to Nissaki or Kassiopi or south to Corfu Town to pick up buses to other destinations, visit museums and historic sites or just hang out.

Barbati is a special place .stunning beach , crystal clear water, mountains behind you . You can watch the sunrise on an almost deserted beach and go to fab bars/tavernas later in the day / eve . Plenty of shade if you need it from ancient olive trees or loungers you can pay for . Totally perfect for us (2 adults 2 teens ).

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the location of the villa. Barbati had 2 beaches one very small which was superb and a larger one with all the facilities. Barbati offered a number of good restaurants and there were plenty of supermarkets. Perfect place for just getting away from it, reminded me of being in Amalfi!

Its a lovely quiet place for families.

Its a lovely quiet place for families. I hadn't realised however, how mountainous Corfu is. The walk down and up to the beach/main street is quite a killer, especially in 38 degree heat! I wish that I had twigged earlier that all the restaurants do take away, when we did then we ate in our apartment as none of the restaurants have air con. My daughter really struggled with the heat and although the restaurants all have open sides, there was no breeze and it was extremely hot even when sitting under fans. We didn't rent a car on this trip but I would definitely do so if returning. If going to the Waterpark, on some days a bus from the Aquapark passes through Barbati and is much cheaper than a taxi. It takes about an hour to get there and was hassle free. For boat trips, we went with www.asterasboatcruises.gr. They came and picked us up for no extra charge at about 9am (other boat cruises go much earlier) and took us to Dassia. Marilena was super friendly and helpful, we had a great cruise round the North-East part of Corfu.

We couldn’t have wished for a better stay at vladimiros , George our host was so accommodating and kind. We felt so at home. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything you could you want. The pool was lovely and overlooked the amazing view of the ocean. George couldn’t have made us feel more welcome and the night we went to Georges restaurant (lord byron) was the best meal we had in Corfu. We can’t wait to go back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Iris. Beautiful villa with a pool, close to the sea, close to grocery stores and restaurants. We traveled around Corfu by bus and had a bus stop nearby. We had a great view of the sea from our room on the first floor. Our hostess was very helpful and answered (via WhatsApp) our questions quickly.

Great pool and Seaview. Maria provided the transfer which was really helpful. The stuff is very polite and helpful for every advice I needed. The room is fully equipped and has a breathtaking view. Next to the beach and barbati area. Clean hotel and great food Thank you for everything!

Well located to north and central Corfu. Lovely position of property with beautiful views across the sea to Corfu town Lovely clean pool and sun beds Restaurant was delightful with great food and wine Friendly atmosphere especially as I was a solo traveller
