One of the best experience of my life. The staff is so kind to help you in anyway possible to let you to enjoy at the maximum the stay in Leros. I think it is the nicest bay and the best beach in Leros and one of the best in the Dodecanese. However, here are some things to know: the beach is very long and very narrow, it has small pebbles and no sand; families with children must also know that, like in many places along the Aegean, the water becomes deep after a few steps. It is a wonderful place to swim!

The Alinda Hotel and its accompanying taberna are the center of most nighttime activity on Leros. Three nights a week there is wonderful live Greek music and dancing: a typical Greek experience by Greeks!

Alinda is, like the rest of Leros, not very interesting for...

Alinda is, like the rest of Leros, not very interesting for travellers. The beaches are of mediocre quality at best and walking/hiking/taking a stroll is more often than not a hazardous operation, due to the narrow streets and roads without a trace of sidewalks. The quality of restaurants and bars varies but is on the whole good enough.

Alinda is located at the far end away from the ferry port...

Alinda is located at the far end away from the ferry port town of Agia Marina. It’s nice and quiet with very little traffic. It’s more traditional than touristy. There are many choices for walks…both challenging and easy. Several tavernas were open even though it was off season. Lovely people! If you want to go further afield on Leros there are car hire places at Alinda. The buses didn’t run off season but they are pretty good during the season. Don’t miss the patisserie at Agia Marina…and it’s a good walk too.

We stayed as two families, with children aged 7 and 8. If you are coming to Leros, you can stay at this hotel without any hesitation. It is very clean, and the food and drinks are excellent. The breakfast is great, especially the omelette; the yogurt and fruit are very fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The sea is amazing, and there is no need to go anywhere else during your stay. The pool is sufficient for children. Without a doubt, this is a hotel I will come back to.
