The less touristy village and its welcoming inhabitants were my most pleasant surprise during my stay. The house is decorated with care and detail to make the traditional Cretan experience unique. The house is spacious, and its balcony offers a breathtaking view of the mountain with stunning colors. The host is very responsive and helpful, with a good level of English.

Heracles is the warmest and most soft spoken person we met on the trip. We were warmly greated and made feel like guests at someone’s house. Also he kindly let us checkout later as we went for a hike in the morning and desperately needed a shower before getting on our way.

Absolutely an unforgettable stay! From our private terrace, we enjoyed a breathtaking view that was enchanting every single morning. The house wasn't just impeccably clean, but also completely modernized, making it truly feel like a home away from home. Separate air conditioning in every room ensured ultimate comfort, and we didn't have to worry about a thing since everything was provided for. We truly had a delightful vacation, with stunning gorges and attractions nearby. Even the neighbors were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Hello Maria, first of all me and my family want to thank you again for the wonderfull stay. We stayed with our big family (with 7people) for 10 days. At arrival Maria handed over the housekeys and garagekeys, she also gave us alot of tips of local taverns, restaurants, supermarket, places to go, etc... The house is perfect with 4 big bedrooms with AC (very important) each with an own balcony, 2 bathrooms, livingroom, fully equipped kitchen and a big terrace with stunning view. Outside there's a swimmingpool, jacuzzi, big terrace with a gas-bbq and also a fully equipped kitchen. Maria came by everyday to cleanout the swimmingpool, jacuzzi and check if we needed anything. The location of the villa is around 45 minutes drive to the beach (closest Northbeach Rethymnon, closest Southbeach Agia Galini) , along the way you will passby alot of local towns and get amazing views of the nature. The kids can make as much noise as they like and play in the pool as much as they want. There are no neighbors, only you, your family and the nature. Maria also instisted to make us a dinner for my family, she made us a local pasta dish for the whole family with selfmade tzatziki and local vegetables. It was delicious!!! I would recommend everyone this villa, if you're looking for a stressfree and well rested holiday. We would definitely come back again in the future Best regards Lin

The view from the villa was breathtaking, the villa itself was very comfortable & well equipped - the bedrooms were all lovely & spacious, it was very clean throughout & there was a lot of space inside & outside - the top balcony was especially wonderful to have breakfast on & watch storms out at sea during our stay! Short walk into Kerames village to a well stocked mini-market & the excellent & very friendly taverna in the centre - amazing food & generous post-dinner raki! George was really helpful & quick to respond to any query we had.

The villa is up in the mountains so very peaceful. It's a very good size with 2 large bedrooms with a large lounge and kitchen area. There's a nice veranda looking out to a gorgeous view. There's a pool to dip into and 4 sun loungers. We arrived late and there was food / drink in the fridge that Nikos kindly provided. The villa was also nice and clean. Would highly recommend.

A fairly large village nestled among the hills, with about...

A fairly large village nestled among the hills, with about 300–400 inhabitants, located along the main road. Its streets are steep and narrow, but from everywhere there are wonderful views of the surrounding area. On the beautifully renovated main square, two tavernas are in operation, where locals and visitors alike can relax peacefully under the old plane tree. Within a 30-minute drive you can reach the famous Preveli palm grove and beach, Triopetra Beach, and the regional center Spili, known for its fountains and offering dozens of restaurants.
